You have a ‘vette? Pictures please!
LOL - well shades of pink and purple and blue also. We do have trees in the higher elevations, mostly pinon and juniper though around here.
Have you learned yet why the Horse Forum is down? I tried logging into my account at Country Supply and accessing it that way - this is what I got then.

I don’t have the email of anyone there to write and ask but it’s really quite strange.
No idea... And as lax as the moderation and management is there, it’s hard to know if they’re even working on it.
So you can’t log in to their commercial site either? That’s interesting... and for business, should get their attention.
No, I can log into their commercial site with no problem, I just can’t get to the forum from there either.
Oh - I see... So it is just the forum that is down.
Well, then who knows when they’ll get around to fixing it.
Well, at the speed that they are currently working it may be a month or two :)
Did you get your mowing done? I can’t get over the fact you do that with a push mower. I used to think mowing eight acres with my lawn tractor was a real chore.
Looks like I will spend the day making banana bread to freeze and tomatilla salsa. Interesting stuff will have to wait until it’s cooler - well except for pictures of Rocky so I can get him registered.
Bob spoke to the lady that bought BamBam. BamBam opened the gate to the round pen and let herself out the first night she was there :) Good thing the round pen was inside another fenced area.
I hope to finish mowing the front pasture today, but I haven’t gotten started yet. :~)
Then I’ve got other mowing to do in the back just to keep the woodsy brush from taking back over what I’m trying to keep clear... probably every day for the next couple of weeks I should be mowing something. :~)
I enjoy mowing, I just wish all this work would make me thin!
Heh... So BamBam needs a better gate. Was she an escape artist at your place, or is this a new talent?
I’m often surprised at people who don’t chain gates... Tiff for example, just uses the little sliders that come with the metal panel gates. I’ve always used chains, even though none of mine seem to fidget with gates.
LOL - well this is a new talent for her although all appaloosas are escape artists so all of our gates have clips on them. The round pens don’t but I’m guessing she decided she was ready to leave and just got foiled by the second gate. She did meet the horses next door though and seems more inclined to hang around.
oooooo!!!! I approve! :-D
You think they will ever get the HF going again.
I don’t know what to think about that!
We just had to go buy a new barbecue. We priced the parts to fix the old one and they were within $50 of a new one, so we got a new one. Now we have to figure out how to put it together. :~\
It’s strange how the HF went offline so abruptly. I liked to read it for the popcorn factor. :-D
Sorry about the work drama. Personality conflicts can sure suck the morale out of a job. I do hope with more time you all figure each other out.
It’s good to hear from you. I am really sorry that you’re having so much drama at work, it makes for an unbearable day and the overtime must make it 100 times worse.
Have you given any more thought to moving to the west coast? Any interesting job prospects?
I drained Freckles “boob” again this am. It went flat this time, so we’ll we if it comes back. It gave me an opportunity to put the halter and lead back on him anyway. I had been neglecting to keep practicing with him. He stood tied till the needle stopped dripping and then I let his mama, Sissy, go and took him out of the stall. She left without waiting on him. I walked him out of the small lot into the bigger pasture. He tried biting me and jerking to get away real quick, but it didn’t work, so he walked with me till I stopped and took the halter off and let it drop. He took off like a rocket, calling for his mama the whole way with his tail up. It was pretty.
That’s good to hear. Sounds like maybe it is going to heal up just fine. I’d love to see a picture of this kid.
