This is a horse chat thread where we share ideas, ask for input from other horsemen, and talk about our riding and horse-keeping. We have a lot of different kinds of riders and horses, and a lot to share, usually about our horses, sometimes about our dogs, gardens and other stuff we do. :~)
I have a ping list for horse threads that are of interest, and MissTargets will ping everyone most mornings. Let MissTargets and/or me know if you would like to be on the ping list.
So... like the previous threads, this is intended as fun place to come and share stories, pictures, questions and chit-chat, unguided and unmoderated and that we come together here as friends.

Yeah - it’s not unlike a flea comb, but wider.
Heh! The beagle seems to be loving it, or is just being held down. I can’t decide which. :-)
We couldn’t really decide if he liked it or felt he was being punished either. ;~)
Whew. It’s 11:15 here and I’m just finishing up my final load of laundry. I’m partially packed, as I have a long busy day tomorrow, and probably won’t get much time to pack period. Gah. I have a problem where I’m a compulsive packer and I have to develop a contingency plan for every possible scenario. (And, no, all that laundry is NOT going into the suitcase!)
I try to plan for every contingency too when I pack... but it’s funny, I usually get there and hate most of what I brought. ;~)

WHen we have been by big bodies of water either lakes or rivers with boats that caused waves even our horses hesitated some at the lapping of the water, but after some "patient" promting they finally would go in.
Well jeepers! You should do something about that before the trip! ;~)

I have the Wal-Mart version of the Furminator, it was only $19.99 and boy it does work great! A friend of mine got a Furminator off Ebay for $.99

I just found out this morning that yesterday was HaveFaith’s birthday too. That’s cool that you both have the same one. I don’t think anybody else on the thread has a shared birthday.

I leave at 9:50 EST and land at 3:32 PST. I have so much to do before then, and ugh, I’m working late while everyone else has left early.
Will you be able to logon to FR while you’re out there and post pictures and updates of your adventures? I sure hope so!!
