Oh, what cute kitties.

You are such a good person to help them. Do you have any idea how old they are? Are they about the same size as the others or smaller?

Happy Anniversary!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!

Sorry about the kitten. You really do go over and above...
Hope you find homes for them.
I’m glad the man in the store didn’t go in you barn. That could have been alot worse than it was, but sounded plenty scary.

Thanks all... the anniversary was kindof a bust, we both went to bed without barely even eating our dinner, and frazzled. But we're determined to make up for it tonight and go out for a nice dinner.

I guess that's life with me... always a bleeding heart for the little things.

Then I had to stare at Cyn for about an hour last night to be sure she wasn't colicky. Yeesh, with everything else going on I had left the horses in the back forty where it's knee deep in green for far too long yesterday and Cyn was acting weird enough, rolling and laying down early in the evening, that I started fretting about that. She's OK though.

This morning I just let them out there for about an hour, and decided to bring them back off of it. I've just had about as much adventure as I can take!

Here's more pictures of the new ones. I did go out and meow and listen out by the pile, didn't hear anything. The two that are missing are a bright orange and another dark one, either a tortoise or a calico.

Ooops forgot the link to the pictures from this morning... Hope you don't mind if I'm doing a lot of copy paste between forums. It's a lot to keep updated!

They’re smaller than the other litter, but they’re eating food right away, so they might be older, just less-well fed. The other momma had hers about three feet up from the feed dish, after all, and she was never interrupted nursing them.

These have had it rougher.

Wow, that’s GREAT news about finding all those kitties new homes, and so fast! You and Sedona done good!

Sedona especially, if all her co-workers come through! And these aren’t even nice kittens!

Oh - they will be though, they’ve settled down already. They still sortof hiss when I stick my hand in (gloved) but I can reach in and touch them. I’ve picked up the two calicos, didn’t want to push the tux too far yet.

Is that a picture of Momma Cat’s kitten looking into the cage at one of Sister Cat’s kittens? Or is that Gidget?

That’s momma cat’s kitten looking in. They’re a lot bigger than these new ones. These new ones are tiny.

I don’t mind at all - you’re right, it is a lot to keep updated. I’m sure glad Cyn is alright. My heart dropped when I started reading that.

Well, you know if Cyn had been more serious, I’d have said something more than just a footnote on the kitten thread.

It was just one of those times where I had to stare at her a long time and try to figure out if I was seeing anything.

He’s never been around horses, but he’s certainly open to the idea of riding and wants to give it a go, which is pretty cool. We’ve known each other for 10 years, and our paths have crossed many times. This time, they have crossed for good. As one of his friends put it ever so eloquently last night, “It’s about damn time.” Heh.

Those little kitties are so cute.

Any news about Sister Cat and her two little ones?

Nothing happened Beaker... I just commented on the other thread that during all the stress of finding the other litter of kittens, I looked over and wondered if Cyn was acting colicky, as if I didn’t have enough going on... But I watched her for an hour or so and decided she was fine.

No news. We looked thoroughly and dismantled the pile and the other two kittens were gone. I’m going to be an optimist and decide that their momma took them away some place safe, unless I find out otherwise. If they show back up as semi adults, I guess we’ll have them spay/neutered too.

I feel bad to have not gotten all of them, but we did what we could. Three of them now have a real shot at a nice cushy pet life, and that’s good! :~)
