This is a horse chat thread where we share ideas, ask for input from other horsemen, and talk about our riding and horse-keeping. We have a lot of different kinds of riders and horses, and a lot to share, usually about our horses, sometimes about our dogs, gardens and other stuff we do. :~)
I have a ping list for horse threads that are of interest, and MissTargets will ping everyone most mornings. Let MissTargets and/or me know if you would like to be on the ping list.
So... like the previous threads, this is intended as fun place to come and share stories, pictures, questions and chit-chat, unguided and unmoderated and that we come together here as friends.

New folk and occasional posters, jump right in and introduce yourselves, tell us about your horses, and post pictures if you've got them!
I don’t remember hearing about Rowdy. I’m sorry that had to happen.
Looking forward to pictures of the house as you are doing it.

Poor ponies:( They look so cold.
Have I mentioned I hate cold:)

Oh the stilts are cool! That makes it a lot easier!
The horses were waiting to go out to pasture. I tried to tell them there wasn’t really going to be much to do out there so they might as well just go back to the barn.
LOL - I guess that’s probably easier than moving a ladder constantly but surely it’s hard to focus on balancing and on the ceiling and the furniture. Hope he doesn’t trip.
I should have pinged you to this thread - I’m sorry. Passing on your advice.

LOL...when he was taking them off he started to go sidewise a bit, and I said, careful, you're going to bring out the mother instinct in me:)....This boy is a friend of Charlies, I've known him since he was in high school.
But the stilts do seem to speed up the job. He scraped the first whole room in about 15 minutes.

The mess
Becky
What a difference. He really did a professional job of covering everything up and I can see why now with the mess. Hopefully it will all disappear with the plastic. What color are you going to paint the ceilings?
Wow, very cool! And didn’t take him very long once he started eh? Prolly took longer to put up all the tarpage!
Yeah, putting up the plastic takes the longest..
I’m going to be out of pocket now till after tomorrow, they have made it to the office, and I’ve got just this time to make this last post before they cover up the computer:)
Becky
See ya then!
You were right. Somehow she got in the attic. No wonder she hung around the house. There are 4 . Three dark and a gold one. One is already a handful and fights her. I took pics and am going to do a one hour tomorrow. (pics of my vac later tonight). I found something neat at wWalmart. That digital camera that I can't get to host anywhere...I may be able to use it and pull the card and download on disc at Walmart.
Wow. How pretty.
LOL - the attic. Well now we know she and the babies are safe.
That will be great if you can still use that camera for something won’t it.
I’ll be looking forward to pictures.
We moved them. Maybe we shouldn’t have but we did. She was nervous and even dumped one in my bed but I have them in that box I made the first night, that I mentioned her to you. They are sleeping in the den.
She might move them again a couple of times. Just keep putting them back where you have the box. Can’t wait for pictures :)
My husband keeps telling me that we can’t have 5 cats. I’m not the one that jumps up and checks on them whenever they cry though:’)
But you don’t have five cats, the kids have three of them so you only have two. That’s a perfectly reasonable number.
I was allowed to look but not touch:’)
