Here’s a picture of Frog, Blade and I going down the hill I went up today....I have a good picture of you on Rock at the bottom letting him drink in my pictures, but I can’t find it in the files to load it...

I remember the spot :~)
Well, this is turning out to be a fairly good day.
A friend is coming for dinner, and I just got a call from the guy who is going to redo my ceilings and possibly paint the house. Mack and I had him out last winter to give an estimate on the job. I called him to tell him I’m ready to get the job done and he is coming tonight to take a look and set a day:). First step in getting the house on the market.
Maybe I will get it on the market by spring/early summer.
Becky
Well that sounds like progress. Prepare for a short term HUGE mess if he’s going to take that popcorn down :~0 Is it in every room, or just the living room? I don’t remember.
Oh - I was going to tell you about a new program you might be interested in about NW logging, since you were interested in it when you were here... Ax Men on the History channel. Done kindof like “deadliest catch”, where they follow and watch logging crews in Oregon.
They’re small independent loggers logging in state DNR forest land in Oregon, so they’re working under the same kind of conditions as the state forests here. They get bids and contract out particular jobs they want done. Last night was the first episode, and they were dealing with contracts to clean up a lot of blow down, so it’s footage that was shot after the storms last winter, probably.
Yeah, its’ every room:\. Luckily he said he could do the whole house in a weekend. I plan on living in the RV, that weekend.
Becky
Oh, and I’ll look to see if I can get that program. I really cut back on the channels I can get, but I think I still get 1 history channel, maybe it will be the right one:)
Becky
They’ll probably replay the opener a couple times, even though you missed it.
Well it’s good that you have the RV - it’s not a bad place to be! I wish I had it for our storms... I’d put it out in the pasture :~) It rocks a bit in the wind, but at least I could get it out of the range of the trees, and it’s more comfortable than our truck!
But it’ll still be a mess... what would you do with all the stuff? Put it in the middle with plastic over it I guess?
He drapes everything with plastic. From what I understood him to say last winter, we don’t have to move much because of the way he will drape everything. I can’t imagine, but this is what he does for a living. He’s an old friend of Charlies.
When he called he asked if he could bring his whole family, wife 2 kids, because they were bored...dawned on me maybe he wants his wife to see the house. When I called him a few weeks ago about doing the job I told him I was selling, he said he was interested...
Sure would be nice if I could sell this place that easy:), but I have a feeling that is wishful thinking.
Becky
I searched for that show, and found it. I can record it on Thurs.
Becky
Well, it would be nice if it’s that easy.... :~)
So they are all coming for dinner?
Becky
Look at that! There they are! NEAT! :~)
LOL...no he and his family are not coming for dinner, another friend of mine. A friend who I hadn’t seen much of lately, but worked for the hospital Mack was in, and came and visited while I was there and has kept in touch. We have dinner now about once a week. She and her husband were good friends of ours for years, then they divorced and lost touch. It’s been fun getting re-aquainted. Her kids are grown now, and she is expecting her first grandchild:)
Becky
Pretty cool huh:), I took that right out my front door...they were way off past the barn.
Becky
Oh - I thought the friend and the ceiling job were the same person :~)
Old friends are good... Have a nice evening with her then. :~)
Jeepers our weather is changeable... sunny one minute, rainy and windy and nasty the next.
I’m sorry, I hate that...I’m afraid we probably really aren’t done with winter...I haven’t even checked the forecast because I don’t even want to know that it is going to turn cold again. I want to enjoy these nice days this week.
Becky
Well, I’m not afraid of the wind today, at least... I ~think~ we are past the wind storms I need to fear.
In my mind, it’s already spring, so I’ve put my seasonal phobias away already :~)
