This is a horse chat thread where we share ideas, ask for input from other horsemen, and talk about our riding and horse-keeping. We have a lot of different kinds of riders and horses, and a lot to share, usually about our horses, sometimes about our dogs, gardens and other stuff we do. :~)
I have a ping list for horse threads that are of interest, and MissTargets will ping everyone most mornings. Let MissTargets and/or me know if you would like to be on the ping list.
So... like the previous threads, this is intended as fun place to come and share stories, pictures, questions and chit-chat, unguided and unmoderated and that we come together here as friends.

New folk and occasional posters, jump right in and introduce yourselves, tell us about your horses, and post pictures if you've got them!
Good morning.
Oh dear... I wish I could help.
My idea though, is that the guy could come anyway, even if he’s still gimping a bit, the guy would be able to tell it’s not serious. He might be the type to buy him with a thing or two wrong and fix it. ??
Thanks:), I’d let you help!
The trailer is gone.
I’ll let Charlie decide if we want the guy to go ahead and come on out.

Well, I do wish I could. Unfortunately even if I was there I would not be able to change the weather!
It's another poor man's fish pond, an upgrade to just putting the fish tank outside again. We saw whiskey barrels on sale, they had one with a pond liner in it but didn't have any like that for sale, so we thought the 16 gallon muck bucket would work nicely, with a little room around the edges to plant some flowers!
Isn't it cute?
It’s very spring like here at least by day... still getting a little chilly at night.
It’s snowing here :(
That will make a cool fish pond, now I am anxious to see it with flowers planted around it.
Impatiens I think, around the edge and around the bottom of the barrel too. It only gets spots of sun under the trees, the petunias I tried last year didn’t do very well.
Well, we’re still a month or more away from early flowers being at the store... though they are selling primroses now if I was extra eager. :~)
Impatiens should do very well there with the shade and the humidity. It probably is a day or two early to plant though.
He does what? ;~)
Tweek and Pippin are just fine! They’re good kitties.
I’ll get some pictures of them in the next couple days. You post some pictures of Chester!
I think it’s too early to move the fish out there too... they’ve been used to inside temps so I shouldn’t put them out there while it still might freeze at night probably.
It’s just so nice out around here it hardly feels like February.
I realized something was missing from the pond... The rubber duckie! So now it looks like a happy pond.
Boy, I wish I could say that here. It feels like the movie “The Day After Tomorrow” here. Maybe I should hit the road, drive through OK and pick up Becky and head south to warm beaches until spring finally arrives. The only problem is nowdays, even southern CA is getting snow. What’s the world coming to? :)
Well, you all could come up here if you want sunny weather.... now when did you ever think you would hear that? :~)
LOL - That was totally unexpected. I really am sitting here laughing.
LOL...I’m there with you Duchess:)
Becky
