Good night. :~)
Talked to Tiff... she got home on time and didn’t mention that there was a new small horse in the paddock... ;~)
To: HairOfTheDog
... it's not just little waves, it's surf! ... Yeah, I can see a horse that was not accustomed to it just totally freaking out, as in "I'm gonna dump your ass on the ground and go SOMEWHERE ELSE!!
I really am gone now...
To: FrogInABlender
How many miles average are your rides? Looks like you are going 20-30 miles.

I...can't...seem...to...leave... ;o)
They probably average 15 or so. 10 or less is not worth fooling with and over 25 is a bit much if you aren't competing.
To: FrogInABlender
It does look like you are going a considerable distance. 15 miles might be on the low side :)
As a guess, I’d say you guys’ horses could hang in with an endurance horse any day of the week and give them a run for their money.

IIRC, that first set was at Oak Mtn? That’s about an hour from me.

No, we went to Oak Mt a couple of weeks ago. The first batch of pics in this set was taken at Bankhead. The Oak Mt. pics were at
post 5282.

Oh, and the next time we go you’re more than welcome to meet us there if you want to. We’ve talked about going back down there in the spring, maybe when the dogwoods are blooming. I’ll bet it would be really pretty then.
To: FrogInABlender
Thanks — if we have a trailer by then I might do that. I have a quarter horse though, and I would be a slowpoke, LOL.

Heck, I’ve always got a spare horse you could ride, if you’re so inclined.
Weren’t you looking at a gaited horse for your daughter at one point?
To: FrogInABlender
Yes — and I did buy her a Tennessee Walker mare. I could ride her :-) I need to post a picture. She’s has a really pretty face, but she’s a bit lanky.

Hey, everybody. Angus, the mastiff and my godson puppy is at the Westminister Dog Show now. It starts tonight on USA or CNBC. He should be in the working class and hopefully will make it so everyone can see him on tv. LOL GO ANGUS GO

Rosey Toes placed 2nd in the dog show last weekend and got her VI rating which means she's on her way to adult champion in IABACA.

Evening ladies...
Made it through the windstorm with no major damage. We had snow squalls yesterday too. It sure was a big one though, and the wind has picked up again tonight. I didn't sleep well last night because the wind kept waking me up, and I spent most of the night downstairs because of the way that things were moving around upstairs. It's a strong, new, house, but woo boy, I was expecting to be in OZ.
I hope that everyone has had a good day.
To: Beaker
I think I’ve had a calmer day than you did, certainly.
Hope it’s calming down now.

Well, good morning...
The shoer will be coming on Saturday... That’ll be cool, ecurbh will be able to meet him.
Warming up here, the horses are shedding. :~)
Becky... if you can get an opinion on Harley today... let us know.
To: All
We had a bit of weather here today also, but it seems to have passed. Hope everyone is okay.
Okay, I'm going to try and post a picture of my new horse. He's coming home tomorrow.
