The FreeRepublic Saddle Club - (very out of date) Who's Who *pics*

This is a horse chat thread where we share ideas, ask for input from other horsemen, and talk about our riding and horse-keeping. We have a lot of different kinds of riders and horses, and a lot to share, usually about our horses, sometimes about our dogs, gardens and other stuff we do. :~)

I have a ping list for horse threads that are of interest, and MissTargets will ping everyone most mornings. Let MissTargets and/or me know if you would like to be on the ping list.

So... like the previous threads, this is intended as fun place to come and share stories, pictures, questions and chit-chat, unguided and unmoderated and that we come together here as friends.

There’s nothing at all to be nervous about if you’re you. But if you’re me, I’d be nervous as heck! I must have been a
chihuahua in a former life... ;-) I’m sure that everything will be fine, and you guys will have a blast! Ride one of them gaited horses for me, ok?

...I just took a bath and shaved my legs...

LOL!! I gotta do that too, along with a ton of other things. There's just too many little things to try to remember. I got the biggest majority of the rust spots painted on the old trailer last night, but I finished up in the dark, so it's probably going to look like a drunk blind man painted it. I don't care though. Just getting it sanded down and SOME kind of paint on it to keep it from rusting down all together was my main goal. So y'all don't laugh at me too hard when we pull up in the driveway. I did get the small suitcase out and my sleeping bag and I've got a list about a mile long of other things to round up. I'll be a miracle if I don't forget my head before it's over, but I'm sure I'll forget SOMETHING!

I have got to go to the health department this morning and get a TB test and then I have a job interview after lunch, then I have some training this evening with the Oklahoma Medical Reserve Corps, so today is going to be hard.

I planned on just coming straight home today after I pick her up. By the time we get home, it will be time to start supper, and even then it’s going to be a late one.

I definitely plan on seeing you tomorrow, if it rains the riding may be out, but we’ve got to get you out here, so you will know the way for Sat., and we need to see your bug. You still planning on being here for the cook out? And don’t forget about Fri. evening down at the building in town, that’s when the newspaper lady is going to visit with us, and then Sun. the pumpkin patch, and the hike to the caves. Busy weekend.
