This is a horse chat thread where we share ideas, ask for input from other horsemen, and talk about our riding and horse-keeping. We have a lot of different kinds of riders and horses, and a lot to share, usually about our horses, sometimes about our dogs, gardens and other stuff we do. :~)
I have a ping list for horse threads that are of interest, and MissTargets will ping everyone most mornings. Let MissTargets and/or me know if you would like to be on the ping list.
So... like the previous threads, this is intended as fun place to come and share stories, pictures, questions and chit-chat, unguided and unmoderated and that we come together here as friends.

New folk and occasional posters, jump right in and introduce yourselves, tell us about your horses, and post pictures if you've got them!
LOL!! Ya gotta love him! Never miss the opportunity for a good practical joke, especially when she made it so EASY!
He doesn't even need an easy opportunity. He is in constant tease mode. You would think after 33 years, I would get use to him, or he would learn, that I'm short on humor:), and his teasing is most likely going to get a good one started:) I didn't forget the can this time. I'm in town, and even remember to come get the espresso maker:)

I’m a little lost, not sure what to do with myself.
I still need to go clean stalls, but I am waiting to see if the horses will go out to pasture so they aren’t in the way.
But it’s raining and they ain’t goin’.
Well good! I hate it when I do stuff like that, and I do it ALL THE TIME. If I really want to remember something I usually have to leave myself a note or make a list. But now maybe you can get your mowing done and it'll keep your mind off your nervousness.
Seems like you and Becky both have a case of the fidgets. Take your lunge whip out there and run the little buggers out to the back 40 and lock them out there while you clean. It'll give you something to do to keep your mind off your trip.
I know just what you mean...I’ve been doing a lot of wondering around the house doing nothing. I got stuck here in town to do an errand for Mack, but will be heading home to mow in a bit.

The weather report for the Mid-West sure looks nasty. I might be driving right into it. :( Rain and high winds. There goes the mileage, with a headwind. Gee, I hope it is nice when we all get there.
You will probably be gone, before I get back on here tomorrow.
The forecast is saying that there are chances of rain on Wed. but Thurs and Fri are looking good.
I’m home. Ready to go do some mowing.
Becky
Would you like anyone to temporarily run the good morning posts while you’re away?
Cyn tried to help me open the bags of shavings... I'd have let her keep playing with it but I was afraid she was eating the plastic :~)
She also likes to stand on them, but I didn't catch that this time.
Next up, clean the drainage out.
{channeling Yoda here}
Man, I caught the thread over on the horse forum about you guys all meeting up, and I’m getting antsy and disappointed all over again. Yes, I’m whining, yes it’s not attractive, but *sigh* Hopefully there will be another meet up some day. :-)
I think there will be another chance!
I think we may all go to frog’s next!
Or I’d love to have another moot here too!
I’m talking with a lot of exclamation points! ;~)
Time to go clean out the drainage!
I’ll be praying for you all until I know you’re safely at Becky’s (watch for angels). How about one of these years in Nevada. At the rate I’m going, we have enough horses for the whole saddle club.
