This is a horse chat thread where we share ideas, ask for input from other horsemen, and talk about our riding and horse-keeping. We have a lot of different kinds of riders and horses, and a lot to share, usually about our horses, sometimes about our dogs, gardens and other stuff we do. :~)
I have a ping list for horse threads that are of interest, and MissTargets will ping everyone most mornings. Let MissTargets and/or me know if you would like to be on the ping list.

I’ve already decided that I’m going to meet you where you pick up the luggage. I feel more comfortable parking and going in. I want to be sure I’m in the right place. I’m not familiar with how it would work picking you up outside like you did me. This way, I can go in and find the right place. That’s where Mack picked me up last year, by the luggage area.

I understand! It’s gotten a lot more complicated now that they won’t just let you sit there where I picked you up, you just have to keep driving around in circles. Tulsa’s probably the same way.
So I’ll see you at baggage claim. I think I’ll have the cell phone with me after all so I’ll PM you that number.. I was going to leave it in case ecurbh had emergencies while I was gone, but we’ve backtracked on that. If I miss connections, I need to have a phone!
Good idea. I’ll bring mack’s cell phone with me too, and send you that # so if we have trouble finding each other we can call.

No problem. Better to know what you’re getting into up front rather than later. But I think MT mostly just wants to check out what a gaited horse is like to ride, so I just thought I’d bring her along since we were bringing horses anyways. I don’t expect her to buy her or anything. But if she did, I’d definately take her back if she didn’t work out. She IS one of my babies after all.

Heh, I was thinking the same thing when you were giving driving directions over on the other forum. I kept on thinking about who might also show up at the Shell station. ;o)

Well, I think I’ve done everything I can in the house, and since the radar looks like the rain has passed even tho it still looks dreary here, I’m going to try again to get some gas, and come home and mow and weedeat.
