Invite you out to design and implement the plan? :~)
The county has had a long standing water pressure problem in our neighborhood (too high! way too high! 200 psi when it ought to be around 70) and finally installed a reducing valve on the main water line. They had to dig a HUMONGOUS hole - I'm talking 30 feet long and 15 or 20 feet deep - to get to the main line.
The dogs and I came strolling by, and the guys were kidding about digging for gold. So I offered to let my Labs help dig, if they would give me a share! (meanwhile of course Shelley and Ruby are looking with glee over the edge of the hole, totally agog at the dirt and mud and water!)
I thought this was was so cute with Rebel and Lugar. She emailed one of Alison with her cast, but I can't seem to copy it.
What a pretty pretty girl, and look at all those ribbons:)....
Cast...???? did I miss something?
Becky
My goodness. That gal’s going to be tough to afford. I didn’t get that many trophies in all my years showing.
Oh, I’m so sorry, is it going to stop her from showing?
Becky
Neither did I!
Showing is rather expensive, but I blow a $100 or more a weekend when I go trail riding. Diesel is $3.09/gal here. That is why I don't go very far to ride.
She is done for the year now, thank goodness.
I am thinking maybe I will get there around the 17th then. That will give Hair a chance to settle in before I get there. The World Championship Appaloosa Show is in OK City, the following week. I doubt, I will stay that long.
That will be fine. When we get closer to the day, you’ll have to give me an idea of the time of day you will be coming in so Hair and I aren’t out on the horses:).
I’ll PM you my address and phone #’s.
Becky
It's not just the cost of showing, I mean that gal's standards in every department are going to be pretty high. She's on the Princess Plan for sure ;~)
DANG! That’s a lot of stuff there for just one year. I’ll bet it’d boggle the mind to see everything that she’s ever won gathered up and displayed.
He says there were two white cars and one of you were speeding. We figured it was you because when we clocked you again you were slowed down" The other car was passed on. I was pulled over. I was so grateful but then I got mad. That wasn't right. It's that cop magnet I drive, I think.
Then I was telling my husband about how indignant I was about getting pulled over on a guess but all he could do was %^$^& at me for not having my DL.
Weird story though, huh?.
My head hurts. You want to know how I knew I wasn't speeding? :')I was thinking about horses and wondering if they could gallop 35 MPH and thinking dang that's fast:')
What is with the stickers on the diesel fuel pumps about not using the fuel for 2007 and newer vehicles? Do you have that in your parts?
The 2007 and 2008 diesels are designed to use the new ultra-low sulfur diesel fuel and if you put the regular old diesel fuel in them it will royally screw them up. You can use the new fuel in older diesel engines with no problem, and in fact, it’s probably better for them. It just puts out less black smoke and particulates than the old kind. I’m going to have to be careful and make sure I get the right kind because not all the stations have switched over yet.
You’re lucky that he only gave you a warning for the speeding. Every time that I’ve gotten pulled over I’ve always gotten the full-blown ticket. It really pisses me off! And it’s pointless to argue with them either. That usually just gets you in deeper. I finally got a radar detector so hopefully that’ll help some.
I wasn’t speeding though.
Oh I know, but like I say, there’s no point in argueing with them. If THEY think you’re speeding then that’s pretty much all that matters.
You see those minature cows?
