I know what you mean. Working in the Silicon Valley, there is a huge Asian population, and their attitude toward smoking, is about where attitudes in the U.S. were in the late 1960’s; many of the ones that smoke do it like a raging forest fire.
There are a few around my office — I swear they must smoke in their cars with the windows all rolled up tight — that you can smell them coming from ten feet away. If you go into the coffee room just as they’re leaving, you’d think you were being asphyxiated’ you just gag on the vapor trail they leave behind.
It may not take a shower, but you’ll definitely wnt to wash your hair, change your clothes, and get that smokey-smelling laundry right into the wash.
The smell has dissipated, but I’ll shower and wash my hair later even if I don’t run first. At least she wasn’t smoking while I was in the house!
Pleasant enough woman, and I don’t mind my daughter playing with hers, but I hope they’ll stay outdoors as much as possible!
