He’s talking about the Live Fourth of July special on the national mall.
Anyway, yes this is the type of format they usually have. If you want something more tear jerking, check out the Memorial Day special.

I was down there today after going to a Nationals game. It rained about 6pm so it’s not a great time to be on the mall with all those people.
