As for my personal belief, if Darwinian evolution/macro-evolution is disproved, the only viable alternative is creation.

But Creationism can explain everything...

Horses .. Yep. Goddidit.
Elephants .. Yep.
Talking snakes .. Yep.
Cambrian rabbits .. Yep.
Sharks with a pelvis .. Yep.
Porpoise eggs .. Yep. God made those too.
