Maybe tomorrow there will be Chicken Fried Steak on the menu. Black Skillet Corn bread made with a touch of bacon grease. I will have to think of the rest of the menu.

Do you think in addition to the previous post; fried potatoes smothered in country style cream gravy, grits and sweet rolls a little much?

It has been raining very gently for several hours now....I hope it continues all night.....it is really needed. I hope it includes the fire areas, both north and south.

No problem regarding the gravy, fries and icing. Is there a particular cheese that you would like on your grits?

I am shocked at your rejection. When you pour maple syrup on fried scrapple it is good. LOL.

I usually buy the thinly sliced pork chops with the bone still in them. It sort of adds additional flavor. I can make the gravy with mushrooms or without.
