A "screaming" Paris Hilton has been dragged off to serve her full 45 days in jail. Reportedly screamed and called to her mother as she was taken away. More.
I am a housewife. Should I violate probation, the consequence would be a "go to jail" card. I know this. Thus, I don't violate the law. I don't drive drunk. I don't violate parole. I don't screw up.
What has everyone in a tizzy is that they *are* treating her like everyone else. She's a whining brat and the sheriff fell for it. Would he have let me out for crying?
Somehow I doubt it.
“Career” law clerks are law school graduates who either can’t pass the bar exam or can’t get jobs. Their opinion as to legal matters and fifty cents is worth fifty cents.
Where’d the skinny little skank get those from? Dow Corning?

That sounds like a wise decision. That may be the more appropriate place for her.
I don’t think she’ll like it, though.
"Rich, spoiled, and jonesing is NO way to go through life, Paris."
Ping to 215...
Hardly!
Hell, I was either anxious, weary or scared shitless much of my 13 weeks on the Island..
In the old days, it was a very hard and dangerous place to be for a smart ass...
But an absolutely, positive, fail safe, certifiable CURE for the smart asses, malingerers, weak of body or spirit and uncommitted for all those that made it to "graduation"...
My remark in that post was a general sentiment, not specific to folks on FR. It brings out the worst in our culture is a better way to say it. Sorry.
“Of course, that didnt occur to your fertile and prescient mind
Back to the real world, flyboy.”
What an arrogant jackass you are.
Here’s the “real world” for you:
1. Sentences vary considerably (within the range allowed by statute) based on judge.
2. The circumstances of her case would not lead your average judge to sentence lightly.
3. The common man would not have had the sheriff pull such a ridiculous stunt concerning a “medical problem” for him/her. There is a procedure for that. It is well known. It was not followed.
Same here.
Your fertile mind fails again - both passed the bar on their first attempts. They just don’t want the hassle of large firm life. They have families and like to come home at 6pm.
Sorry your range on thinking is so narrow. Can’t say I’m surprised. But I am still sorry that your brain operates that way.
“My remark in that post was a general sentiment, not specific to folks on FR”
Sure it was.
I've been getting some serious flames since yesterday for saying the same thing. She deserves what she got but the early release is done every single day---yet actual FReepers want her to get the max penalty. Oh well, they're entitled to their opinions too.
Drunk driving got her 36 months probation and a fine. Violation of probation got her 45 days. This is what *YOU* would've gotten. How in the h--- is this "too rough"??
If you're saying that her treatment is too rough, then you're really saying that the law is too rough on all of us.
“Sorry your range on thinking is so narrow. Cant say Im surprised. But I am still sorry that your brain operates that way.”
You really love yourself, don’t you?
update live feed says they are taking her to twin towers, Los Angeles County Medical Center Jail Ward, for mental health inmates
picking apart the AP report—priceless!
>>Screaming Paris Hilton Sent Back to Jail
There’s a good band name: The Screaming Paris Hiltons!
>Paris Hilton was taken from a courtroom screaming and crying Friday seconds after a judge ordered her returned to jail to serve out her entire 45-day sentence for a parole violation in a reckless driving case.
Visions of a little screaming child: waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!
>>to serve out her entire 45-day sentence
but—but—DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM? I’m a celebrity! We
have different rules!
>>”It’s not right!” shouted the weeping Hilton. “Mom!” she called out to her mother in the audience.
The little screaming celeb wanted her Mommy!
>>disheveled and weeping.
Was she wearing her pajamas like Jacko did?
>> She wore no makeup
Too ugly to contemplate! ANY celeb without makeup! shudder...
>>”No! No! No!” Jake Byrd of Chino screamed as a court spokesman delivered the news to reporters outside court.
It’s the end of the world!
>>He said that “her release after only three days erodes confidence in the judicial system.”
But she’s a celebrity! Like we said, two sets of rules!
Just listen to this famous quote by a long-serving
U.S. Senator:
“Do we operate under a system of equal justice under law?
Or is there one system for the average citizen
and another for the high and mighty?”
- Senator Ted Kennedy, 1973 -
You’re repeatedly stating that those who do not agree with you are, somehow, “less.”
By that very act, you are throwing yourself down in the muck and mire with the rest of us swine.
