You can change the diction by timing your breaths or which syllables are stressed--the linguistic equivalent of a tromp d'oeil or an analogy to a pro baseball shortstop scooting by second base with his foot but not *quite* touching it on the way to making a double play.

Alternatively, you can make minor changes to adjust the number of syllables, *if* you desire to fulfill pedantic requirements.
