I would venture to guess that the right jury, with the help of the right prosecutor, could try and convict some of these folks for treason. By the letter of the law, I believe the evidence could leave no reasonable doubt.

You fool. Do you know what kind of conpiracy theories this would cause? Reid, Pelosi, Murtha, Clinton, etc. would be in front of cameras screaming about a murder and cover up. And they would be right! I mean how can someone cut off their own head? They would be dead before they finished.
