we need to get a dog soon Mrs Raven teaches and has off the summer - so can teach the new dog old tricks (train).

Golden Retrievers are the best! (I love my Yorkies, but the very best dog I ever had was my beloved Chauncey.)

I think once before you stated that you wanted didn't want a small dog and that you wanted a intelligent dog.

My next dog will not shed.

I say this:

A no frou-frou clipped standard poodle. Smart, loving non shedding dogs.

A friend of mine had one. ..very nice dog.

Also, a gentleman that lived near my Gram was blind and he had a standard poodle guide dog.

I think because I have Elsa, the constant, shedding German Shepherd, I may be over reacting. LOL. I'm tired of fur flying.

We have a labrador and I can’t imagine ever getting another kind of dog. Smart and loyal. She follows our three sons around and is so overly protective we’ve started calling her a “helicopter dog”

old dog or sure bet = go to the local SPCA. New dog or puppy either go to the local SPCa or a fluff ball = Shih Tzu. I highly recommend the breed! HOB
