Good Morning Chair.

We had more storms here last night, in the DFW TX area it appears the poor folks in the FW portion were slammed hard.
I am in the Dallas area, that’s the big “D” in DFW....:)

Springtime in Texas. On the brighter side, It’s doing wonders for our lawn tho.

Thank you. The civility of this thread has made me a long-time lurker. It’s like being a fly on the wall at someone’s coffee klatch. I’ve rarely posted, but if you continue, ATRW may be my safe haven at FR.

I look forward to this thread every day and I would hate to see it end. It is the island of sanity in a crazy world.

The other threads except for a Day in the Life are rarely visited by me. I don’t post on them and rarely read them. The vitriol on many of them is not what I want in my life.

I have felt a bit awkward & sad. One of the basics of good mental health & happiness is to find common ground & build up those in your circle. If it is impossible (for one) to do so, you should leave the circle. (Not necessary for the circle to disappear IMHO however.

The key players who were most distressed all have strong & good qualities. All are human & touched by life/events in different ways.

I recall my dad teaching me, you may feel something very powerfully in your soul, but it is not always prudent to express it publicly. If you express it privately , make sure it isn't gossip.

I have tried hard to follow that & as I grew up understand it is an expression/interpretation of an underlying tenant of Christianity

If I have offended some here "because I am me", well, I do hope you will find it in your heart to forgive & move on to what I perhaps can offer. I think most of us feel that way

Thank you Chair. Not only for opening the doors to ATRW each day, but for your level headedness and ability to express your thoughts without condemnation and hysteria.

While I don’t post often, I lurk every day and have found myself distressed and offended by some of the rhetoric not only on ATRW, but on other threads as well. However, ATRW is a haven from the in-fighting going on, and with your leadership, it will continue to be.

Chair, you are the best!

By the way, the theme you set for the thread today was a much appreciated reminder.

This thread is the successor for the nest where I first took flight to post elsewhere. It is warm and cozy and always has been. (Even when it was warm and cozy ranting about Slickmeister Clintoon).

You all have my deepest regards. (Even if I imply politely on other threads that you need a rectal-cranial inversion)
