What are your plans for Earth Day?

Today is April 22, Earth Day.


Am I the only one who says WHO CARES???
Has it become "cool" to go green? I see it everywhere and I just don't understand.

The reason I ask is because I am a television producer. Recently in a meeting of story ideas.. the idea of how to go green was brought up.

Yeah yeah we'll tell people about different ways to save the environment, one person said. Keep in mind.. I live in a Very Conservative area. These people aren't your usual liberal tree huggers.

Why is Global Warming such a big issue? Or is it a fake issue? Global warning probably does exist. But there's nothing we can do about it. Global warning, from what I've read, happens on other planets like Saturn too.

I tend to think it's a made up issue. Shouldn't immigration be the number 1 issue? How about Iraq?

How about a Governor going 91 miles an hour down a highway with no regard for anyone's safety?

How about the fact that some kid just shot up a school.. and now gun grabbers will be going after our guns more than ever?

Muslims worship the moon, and treehuggers worship mother earth. Both groups are equally as dangerous to freedom loving Americans everywhere.

So in light of all this.. what are you doing for Earth Day? I'm gonna go gas up my SUV, fire up the gas grill, put gas in my SUV, and chop down a few trees.

I just watched a segment on Fox where they talked about how to go green in your home.

I watched it and learned some things.

Leave unused appliances plugged in ALL the time.

Wash all your clothes on the heat cycle.

Always dry dishes using the Dry cycle. Never let them dry on their own.

And don't forget to mow the grass today!!!!!

Gratuitous pollution is indicative of a deviant personality. I, on the other hand, am improving the world and the things around me while I recycle some things. You can see that my intentions are well meant. In liberal circles, the intent is all that matters.

When I was a college freshman, I hung a big NUKE EARTH banner outside my dorm on the 7th floor. Even though I was a liberal, I didn’t believe in all the environmentalist BS like global warming and recycling.

Nowadays I just try to conserve energy with efficient lights, turning stuff off and maintaining my car. I recycle by reusing, using less non-biodegradables and fixing things. I don’t believe in government recycling.

All of the believers in Global Warming I know leave their lights, TVs and PCs on all day. They buy tiny plastic drinks for home use that put more plastic in the trash. They don’t maintain their cars either. When I tell them about the hypocrisy they just say “its not me, you gotta look at the big picture dude”.

Global Warming/Climate change, whatever "label" you want to use for it, is the biggest confidence job that's ever been perpetrated.

Apparently the lefties have taken a snapshot of the Earth's atmosphere on a certain date and time and it shouldn't change from that snapshot at all. The atmosphere is a static thing and it should remain the same at all times and places.

That's such a crock that it's absolutely amazing. And expensive. In 10 years, it won't be a "theory" it'll be an industry to the tune of $250 billion, most of it tax money sucked out of the govt.

The libs are getting their businesses set up to suck the cash out already. Note Al Gore and others setting up the "carbon credit" businesses to cover their "carbon footprints". They're setting up to dig cash out of the gullible and the govt (redundant, yeah) hand over fist, as quick as they can.

You'll notice that all their predictions are 50+ years out when they won't care about political power any more.

It's a lie. Like everything the libs espouse, it's all a lie.
