so many inaccuracies here.
let’s deal with the most glaring....how as partial birth abortion EVER saved anyone’s life?
More specifically....when the baby is delivered past the shoulder (the most difficult part of the delivery) - what is it about stabbing the neck and sucking the brain out that saves the mother? What medical condition is that?
What is stopping them from simply pulling the head out intact?
I know...I’m asking liberals to think logically -which will never happen. Then they’d have to become conservatives.
The claim will be that vague definition of PBA actually covers in-utero procedures as well. I’m sure you can find a medical need to abort a fetus/baby in the 6th/7th month.
That’s what I’ve asked my lib, OB nurse sister...if the mother’s life is in jeopardy and the pregnancy needs to be ternimated, why not just deliver the baby...either by section or vaginally (whichever is safer for mom and/or baby)? Why murder the infant?
Of course, depending on the age of the baby, it may or not fare well, but babies are surviving at younger gestational ages than ever before.
Our own loser Governor, Granholm, vetoed legislation in our state because it “didn’t provide a provision for the life of the mother”. But doesn’t delivery of a live baby provide this just as well as a murdered one?
Lib-sister just looked at me and shrugged.
I’m going to use that!
I know your question was rhetorical but ... they stab the baby in the head and suck out its brains because their real goal isn’t saving the mother’s life, their real goal is a DEAD baby.
Those live babies are just SO inconvenient, you know. They cry and expect someone to feed them, change them - maybe even hold them once in awhile.
“What is stopping them from simply pulling the head out intact?”
They have to kill the child before it breathes air.
Once it breathes; killing it would be murder. (at least that’s the standard Law Enforcement uses when determining if Murder charges are warranted in cases of non-medically-assisted infanticide versus stillborn)
Because the Limit of Viability is now 23 weeks, the abortionists have to ensure that the first breath does not occur. That’s why the procedure includes turning the baby to breech position, so it can be killed before it’s mouth and nose are exposed to air.
About three years ago, my youngest was having her first baby.
She developed uremic poisoning and it threatened her life.
The baby had a little more than three months to go. It got so serious that the doctor delivered the baby by Cesarean section on Christmas day.
The baby boy had to stay in ICU for about three weeks, but they both did fine.
The way to terminate a threatening pregnancy is to deliver the baby. We got our twenty second Grandchild.
I really don’t understand how killing the baby saves the mom. Can anyone explain what in the heck they are talking about? In the time it would take to kill one, you could deliver it by c-section.
