I don't complain much about the scheduling anymore, although it is rather unusual that for the third straight season we get the two Super Bowl participants from the previous season.
The one thing I would prefer would be to see the bye weeks condensed a little more. I'm sure I'm in the minority here, but I never liked the idea of teams having bye weeks as early as week 3.
Agreed. I’m surprised they haven’t because teams can’t stand getting them before Columbus Day.
Bears only have one Monday nite game which is a shock but four Sunday night. Bunch of odd times for most of the other games.
Did anyone notice this oddity. Dallas plays their usual thanksgiving Day game, then plays again the following Thursday. they then get ten days off and play at Detroit. Didn’t notice if Detroit gets the same treatment.
Potential Super Bowl preview.
Man that’s a lot of Sunday night games for one team. The Bears must have gotten a huge number ratings wise last year in prime time.
Nope. Detroit just gets the one week off before they play Dallas.
I’d like to see the Vegas odds on that.
Somebody check to see if hell froze over.
Well the Falcons ( with Mike Vick & the new coach) begin their season at Minnesota where Vick played perhaps his best game in 2002. That was the game where Vick threw for 170 yards and ran for 170 included a ild 50 yard TD run where 2 Viking would-be tacklers ran into each other chasing Vick. It’s definately make or break for Vick and the falcons.
Well there is the draft coming up. I don’t even pay attention to the NBA anymore.
Eagles bump
ff
Only half of their games will be at 1:00 and I bet one or two of those will be pushed back to 4:00 by CBS.
I think they’re going to make a serious push at Detroit’s #2 pick to try and get Calvin Johnson.
I figured their game at New England would be in prime time.
Well then, upon further review, Pats get two to the Eagles three.
I may now resume my hatred for biased scheduling and/or the Eagles.
