Get to class, you slackers! I've opened a new classroom, but Miss Rika has the gradebook. So if you're looking for a grade you'll have to ping her. Miss Slippy is pretty generous with the plusses if you compliment her shapely legs, so you might try submitting your homework to her instead. My secret for getting extra plusses on my A+ from xs will remain a secret between me and her, so you're on your own if you want her to review your work.

I won't be around much today. VRWCteenboy has a court appearace for a traffic violation that he is contesting and he asked me to go to court with him. (I sure wish xs was here to help -- he didn't run over anybody or anything, but I know she would offer a devastating defense for him.)

If the LEO who gave your son a ticket doesn't show up in court, the case is dismissed. Good idea. Even though it takes time in court. Take photos of the area where he was ticketed in case there was a tree in the way, et cetera, you can win with or without the LEO who ticketed the LEO present.

Funny story:

One of the judge's in my courthouse had a daughter who looked 90 percent as his wife did. The wife took the ticket because it was one of those picture ID things in So. Cal. The mom got away with it, but lo and behold right after that the mom got a ticket. I died laughing when she told me. Daughter has no tickets. Mom has two in two months. LOL!
