I'm interested in the date of Anna's statement to the police. It sure wasn't at the hospital. "She experienced a MEMORY LOSS of the event according to Howard and he had to tell her again that "Danny's dead". (Sound's like "your mommy's dead"??). They sedated her and whisked her out of the hospital. I'll bet her statement was DAYS after Danny's death and in accordance with Howard's and KE's script. KE stated that she had seen Danny before he left for the Bahamas and mentioned a med he was on and that he had a tummy ache. But Howard never mentioned a tummy ache...just that he was tired and he should have thought more of it....Like duh...It was a tough day for the kid but "tired" does not equate with "death". I believe that at some time, Anna got wise and they started to drug her profusely with intent. The fact that KE was warned about the potential for disaster with the drug combo (more than once), the fact that chloral hydrate is rarely tested for, the fact that they flashed the picture of Kapoor (but with no connection to KE), And according to Perper, THE FACT THAT ANNA WOULD HAVE LIKELY LIVED IF THEY HAD TAKEN HER TO THE HOSPITAL BECAUSE THEY WOULD HAVE CONTROLLED HER DRUGS tells me that they didn't inform her of the danger she was in and "I don't want to go to the hospital"...is more likely connected to them telling her she just had the flu....hence, the Tami flu at her bedside. And then there's the big lie...that she hadn't taken methadone in 5 months..and that one was under oath.

The whole thing stinks to high heaven. I hope those jurors are savvy enough to realize that her statement isn't worth the paper it's printed on. Your post is excellent.

I don’t think Anna’s statement to the police should carry much weight, given her drug use, her problems with memory, and Howard’s brainwashing of her. I wouldn’t call it reliable. I, too, hope that the jurors catch that. I guess that’s why Howard’s trying to backpedal now- show himself the caring, honest, nice, victimised guy he truly is /sarc.
