Wow, I just read this. If Anna died face down an hour or two earlier, that would certainly explain the incipient lividity, the purple blotches on her face and chest, they were in the dependent position and so the blood had a chance to begin pooling there. The longer they worked on her the more they would have disturbed the beginning rigidity. Very confusing for anyone arriving on the scene even 30 min later.

“Voiceover: And you’ll hear why in a minute, from Tas, the nurse, who’s re-enacting how she found a lifeless Anna Nicole, who she thought was just asleep.

Tas: And I went over, and I looked at her, and I was like “Oh my God.”

VO: Tas knew something was terribly wrong.

Tas: No breathing, no anything. SO WHAT I DID WAS I TURNED HER OVER and I shook her, and I said, “Anna, Anna are you awake? Anna, Anna wake up.” (CAPS added by me)

VO: And when Anna didn’t wake up, the registered nurse started CPR, but instead of calling 911, she called her husband, Moe, the bodyguard. “

When I said that the first time, many here jumped on me and said there was no way ANS could’ve slept on her tummy because of the tatas.

I disagreed, but let it go. Why didn’t the paramedics or Perper note the lividity, if that’s what it was?

Could she have been on her side then? Brigitte’s story seems to say she was either on her side or back…Perper and crew wouldn’t know about the jaw because they never interviewed her and probably didn’t get into any details with Taz.

" Neven: When I looked at her I knew something was wrong instantly because there was no…..when people sleep the chest rises and falls and she was just lying there. And I thought, ‘that can’t be…there is something not right’. And I tried to……her jaw had dropped ….I tried to push it shut and….it, it wouldn’t.

Rita: In fact Dr. Wecht, that’s what I was going to ask you, and what everyone has told us, and Brigitte confirmed to us that she was found naked, sleeping with a sheet and sort of partially covering her face, the sheet was.

--------------

Page 3 of the autopsy says "…during initial examination in the emergency room, there was no rigor and lividity was at a minimum and unfixed. Page 4 said there was an endotracheal tube present at the mouth at the time of the examination.

Brigitte mentioned her jaw had dropped, she tried to push it shut and it wouldn't. Isn't that a sign of rigor mortis? If there was a tube in her mouth when brought to the hospital they wouldn’t have seen rigor of the jaw?

--------------

Rigor mortis - The term 'stiff' is often used to refer to a dead body as a result of the stiffness that occurs in body joints after death.

Small muscles, such as the jawbone, are usually affected first.

Thanks for your excellent reply. It sure explains the blood pooling on her chest and face. Most of the interviews were confusing because the implication was that Anna was found on her back, which sure didn’t explain how she could have lividity on the chest and face. Tasmar’s admission of turning Anna over and onto her back finally explains the pooling of her blood on her chest.

Additionally it appears she was covered up from head to toe, which would have held in body heat and further confused the time of death. Anna may have been dead for a couple of hours, or more, before Brigitte or Taz uncovered her. Both Brigitte and Tasmar’s description of Anna’s jaw and tongue, are possibly signs of rigor.

Which raises the question - how important is the time of death in the equation? Imho, it should be very important. But according to Perper, Anna’s death was nothing but an unfortunate accident and was not related Daniels death, so all is well in la la land. ;( ;(
