Oh - wow - I bet that was a beautiful tour. That movie has always had some of the most beautiful scenery and music of any movie I've ever seen.

The other thing that makes it neat is that it's based on true story - true family.....I understand there are Von Trapp family members who live in this country now and who run a Van Trapp lodge up in the North East - have a coworker that has been there for skiing.

How glad I am that their family escaped death by the Nazi's.

1962: Saw Sound of Music and Camelot on Broadway when I was 19. It was quite a thrill. Scrambled eggs were $7.00 at the Latin Quarter. (50 cents at home).
