I’m 300 posts behind in reading, but wanted to post this ...
Well, my local Fox news is having more of the Virgie interview tonight. They said it would be at 9:30PM, but I just happened to look up at the TV from my back-reading the thread (had storms all afternoon and much of the early evening, so was offline) and there was Virgie, talking in her kitchen at home in Magnolia, at 9:15 PM. Grrr - I told them not to fool me twice! They say there will be more of it at 9:30, as well.
Anyway, she looks much more relaxed and happy. When I turned up the sound, the reporter was asking her about holding Dannielynn the first time.
She said, like most everything else she’s had to do since Vickie died, it was in an attorney’s office. She went in to the conference room and HKS was there, Larry was there, and Larry’s attorney was there. Virgie’s husband was told to stay outside.
There was a big conference table and Dannielynn had her back to VA, who then picked her up and just started kissing and hugging her. She said Dannielynn reached up and grabbed her hair and kept playing with it. (I remember when VA told this the first time, she thought maybe DL associated the light-colored blondish hair with the memory of her mom.)
She said it was just 20 minutes, but of course, she wanted it to last forever.
She also wanted to make it clear that there was NEVER a “second meeting” to be with Dannielynn that she missed. She was NEVER told about another chance and knew nothing at all about it.
Then she was asked about when she might get to see DL in the future. She said Larry told her to call him and make an appointment, then he would talk with her first and decide if they could work it out.
The reporter asked why about that - and why, when LB had been thru the same bashings from Vickie that Virgie had been, why he wouldn’t take that into consideration as far as what Vickie might have said about Virgie. (Why it would be a problem for her to be around Dannielynn, IOW.)
Virgie said she didn’t know, she thought they would be fine (she and Larry). She just doesn’t know what the future holds or when she will get to see Dannielynn again.

Oh, it’s the “special” “Mother & Child” that was supposed to be on before!
Virgie ... different clips being shown.
Oh, cute family photos of all of them together, with Vickie with long dark brown hair. They’re narrating a bio of ANS and showing historical ANS clips, Billy, Playboy, Howard Marshall ... to Dannielynn and then to Daniel’s death ... then Anna’s death.
Court battles ... there to bury Anna ... paternity battles.
Now the interview with Fox Houston reporter Pattie Shieh.
At first, Virgie didn’t have much to say, the reporter says, but now she’s opening up. Virgie says maybe she should have been out there, talking in the spotlight, like Larry and Howard.
Now, she can’t talk, either, because court’s not over now. She’s grieving over Anna and Daniel.
VA: I’m a good person, a good mother and grandmother - ask all my other children and grandchildren.
Reporter: What about all the mean things Anna said about you?
VA: Our family knows Vickie and what she’s like (VA still talks about ANS in the present) - we know that was the drugs talking.
PS: What do you say to people who say this is all about money to you?
VA: It’s about being part of Dannielynn’s life. She has two families, not just her father’s. We’re hoping and praying that God will touch Larry’s heart and allow us into her life.
PS: What about the Marshall billions?
VA: Those billions have been there for 12 years; it’s not about that. (The 4 deaths, tainted money.)
The reporter keeps going on about the money, over and over. (Comm’l break)
PS: Talk about the time you got to spend with DL.
VA: It was by judge orders. (More about the setting as I posted earlier.) We had lots of face sugars. She wouldn’t let me hold her away to get a better look at her, just wanted to be up close.
VA: LB said to her, you upset Anna, we don’t want you around the baby.
VA: (missed this)
VA: I don’t know what the rumors are, to “set them straight.”
VA: Do I want to go back? No. But I have to, for my family.
VA: It would be easier to walk away, but I’m not a quitter. I’ll be there for my family, for the inquest. I will go back.
VA: My children are dead and were not old enough to die - hadn’t really lived yet. Daniel was only 20.
PS: Who should be held accountable?
VA: who? Can’t tell you - up to the courts to decide. I hope it will all be put up there.
VA: When you know they’re gone because of drugs, it’s hard. You can’t pick what your children will do.
VA: Vickie was funny, could’ve been a comic. Very loving. A good person. The drugs were the problem - the last 10 years on her life. Hard for her to make choices.
VA: Miss her giddiness and comedy. She was a good person.

Don Clark on now. News anchor asked him how he got involved. On Valentine’s Day he was in NYC and got a phone call from O’Q - you’ve got to help her. (He’s on O’Q’s staff.) This little lady has a granddaughter she hasn’t seen, her mother - the lady’s daughter - has died. Can you get down to FL right now to help her out?
Anch: You didn’t know it would be an international event, did you?
DC: Not like this.
Anch: Why hasn’t Virgie been seen in the media as much as HKS and LB have?
DC: We had no idea HKS was so prepared from a media standpoint as he was. Perhaps in hindsight we should’ve gotten VA out there more, but we didn’t know what we were up against.
Anch: What do you think of HK Stern?
DC: We don’t have enough time for me to tell you what kind of person I think HKS is. Two people dead on his watch.
Anch: And what about the father, Larry Birkhead?
DC: LB is a 19-yo in a 35-yo body - very immature. HKS is still leading him along.
Anch: How is this going to play out?
DC: Virgie knows the law, she’s going to abide by it in trying to establish a relationship with Dannielynn’s father.
DC: I had no idea about Anna Nicole’s status and how well known she was. She was quite a lady.
What’s ahead?
VA is going back for the inquest into Daniel’s death.

thanks, RT - I thought that was a good Virgie Arthur interview, and I can’t believe it if LB said, Virgie made anna unhappy so we dont’ want you around the baby - how mean! - that’s the OPPOSITE of what he said in Seidlin’s court - that the mommydearest video was NOT how Anna thought of her mother. And he KNOWS that anna wanted her mom with her during pregnancy because he TOLD US about her email! But now it’s AWHWITW?
I really don’t understand this at all - why is the wholesale putdown and degradation of Anna and her Mom and Mom’s family going on even on this thread? People are making millions on contracts on movies about how slutty and foobar’d Anna was, and how rotten her family was, but they’re trying to re-write DL’s dna? DL was not, immaculate conception fcol. If I were in Virgie’s position, I’d be royally pissed! (but she’s too busy chasing HK and those responsible for her daughter’s and grandson’s death and can’t waste the emotion right now)
DC is right - LB is acting like a 19yo in a 35yo body.... and he’s being led around by HK like he has a ring in his nose and a tag in his right ear - did HK hypnotize HIM too? what DOES Hk have on LB?
