Liz,

I’m trying to think of a topic that i’m well versed at. ‘member i’m the type that asks questions and takes other peoples work and develops (sometimes crazy) theories.

But if you’re desperate enough, maybe we can work something out.

I will volunteer to help. Just tell me what you want me to do and/or keep on my homepage.

I have a large file on things I have been keeping. It is not organized but getting large enough to weed through and do now.

Are we going through our threads only to take info from keywords? Or is that just a start?

Disgusting. This whole thing is an incestrous mess. It's obvious that Harris is pro-Stern and now look at this. Judge Sideline oops I mean Seidlin with Harris and his daughter. Accompanying article. Exclusive: Hanging With “Judge Larry” Art Harris with Judge Larry Seidlin and his daughter After tagging along this week with Judge Larry Seidlin, who riveted TV viewers around the country while brokering the burial of Anna Nicole Smith live six weeks ago, I can report “Judge Larry” can’t go anywhere without fans swamping him for hugs, kisses, handshakes, autographs and questions like, “so when are you gonna get your own TV show so we can watch you again?” “How’d I do?” he laughs, answering their questions with his own. “I watched every minute, and you made all the right calls,” said a construction supervisor who approached him to volunteer his two cents. “I saw what you were trying to do. You got ‘em all to walk out holding hands.” “Your wife couldn’t believe you were watching me and not Monday Night Football with a beer in your hand,” quipped the judge. “Did she think you were crazy?” “Yeah, but I was drinking a beer watching you,” said the fan. “I like beer, too,” said the judge, “but I rarely drink more than one.” Howard, Larry and Virgie may no longer be arm in arm as they emerged after mediation by Judge Larry, but the colorful judge did manage to broker a truce so Anna Nicole could be buried next to her son, Daniel–and his Bronx-cabbie style probing and cajoling elicted not only details about her voracious drug use and enabling by friends, but revealed cracks in her relationship with her mother and financial motives of all parties. Nowadays, whether Judge Seidlin is fetching fresh bagels Sunday mornings on 17th Street in Fort Lauderdale for wife, Belinda, and daughter, Dax, 6, or ordering Chicago-style pizza, Greek salad and rolls soaked in garlic oil from Villa Rose, a hole in the wall near the Hardrock Hotel, he’s swamped by locals and tourists who want to talk about the Anna Nicole case, a televised trial that made “Judge Larry” not only more famous in his own Broward County backyard (the youngest judge ever elected at 28), but maybe the most famous judge in the world. Walk around with Seidlin, as I did earlier this week, you’ll be awed by the universal affection he enjoys at the grassroots level: shopowners, waiters, little old ladies, retirees from blue collar ‘hoods to magnates in posh Boca Raton. “Hey, Larry!” they shout. Even former state attorney general Robert Butterworth, a normally button-down kind of guy, broke into a wide grin and a belly laugh when Judge Seidlin walked into a meeting he was chairing. They see Larry, they laugh, the kind of judge who, just walking into a room, makes people crack up. They know him around these parts for his humor, compassion and good works. In court, they recall he once ripped up speeding tickets of drivers caught in a local speed trap for going one mile an hour over the limit, then shut down the operation. When a local police chief bragged about busting four African American men for gambling on dominoes years ago, Seidlin fined them $7 and chastized the chief. When Geraldo Rivera came to town for a story on elderly shoplifters, he refused to let cameras roll until producers promised to blur faces and spare humiliation. Clips of Seidlin quizzing players in the Anna Nicole trial still play daily as nat pops on network news about the case, and his entertaining quips, even tears which MSNBC’s Dan Abrams pronounced “not judgely, but human,” continue to echo, earning him an iconic spot in American pop culture overnight as a recurring character on Saturday Night Live. And he doesn’t even have his own judge show. Yet. Lawyers who have practiced in front of him for years say Judge Seidlin wasn’t mugging for TV cameras; that’s the way he’s been for years—honest, earthy and original. He’s not ready to talk about the Anna Nicole case, but says he’s delighted to be returning to family court in a bench swap with the infamous pot-smoking Judge Lawrence Korda, who was asked to move to probate after he was busted smoking a joint in a public park within 20 yards of children. Seidlin volunteered to help after the chief judge asked who could take over Korda’s duties while his case winds towards a trial date. Courthouse sources say it was not appropriate for Korda to rule in family matters that can involve children with a first offense pot bust hanging over his head. Enter Judge Larry, who actually started the Broward family court division in 1992 after a Florida Supreme Court judge ordered counties to create their own distinct family courts. Seidlin served as a family court judge for two years before working as the division’s administrative judge, moved to Juvenile Court, then Probate. Yesterday, when he met with 100 lawyers who had cases in front of Korda to reschedule and get reacquainted, he enjoyed an outpouring of gratitude for being there, his 29th year on the bench. “It feels like I’m coming home,” he said. “I have so many good friends here in family court. I can’t go home to the Bronx. All my childhood friends have moved away.” It was emotional, but I can report Judge Larry did not cry! Puhleeeaassseeeee ... a thorough investigation? That could be succesfully argued and we, as American citizens, have a right to freedom of speech.

Has anyone tried to actually talk to Greta or anyone interested in our “research” skills? It would be nice if we got input from them as to what they want to know or info we have dug up that could be useful. How about we try and get a liason to set that up?

Stern hires Atlanta attorney to defend against “trial by media”

ERRIN HAINES
Associated Press

ATLANTA - Atlanta attorney Lin Wood has announced he will represent Howard K. Stern in possible litigation against media companies Stern believes are falsely implicating him in the death of Anna Nicole Smith and her son, Daniel.

Wood, who made the announcement in a statement released Monday, said he was retained after meetings over the weekend in the Bahamas, where Smith and Stern lived as a couple before her death in February.

“My representation of Mr. Stern will focus on those individuals and entities guilty of making false accusations of criminal conduct against him related to the tragic deaths of Anna Nicole Smith and her son, Daniel,” Wood said in the release. “Mr. Stern is an innocent individual who has never been charged with any crime but finds himself on trial in the media. The nightly television, tabloid and Internet trial of Mr. Stern in the court of public opinion based on sensational lies, speculation, rumor and gossip is over.”

I just half-heard something on Open Court w/ Ron Kuby. It was LB talking and sounded like it was about not cooperating with HKS. I don’t know if this was old footage or if he said it today. It’s on in the background and i didn’t quite comprehend it. But it sounded like it could’ve been a reaction to HKS’s statement that he was going to be working with Larry to keep Dannielynn away from Virgie.

Did anyone else hear this? Confirm? Deny?

I will look it over and see what I have so I can choose a keyword or two. Then once you have assigned keywords I can give them my input too.

IF the inquest ever gets underway I think it would be a good idea to keep up with what each witness testified to in case there is a trial down the road. We could each take a few witnesses and compile their info. (Just a thought for down the road)
