not a legal expert by any means, but, I believe some time ago, it was decided that the Bahamas had jurisdiction over custody, and it would be recognized by California. Larry is being given 'temp custody' I think, but it's not 'final'. If he doesn't return, he may run a risk . I think the Bahama CPS hasn't completed their 'suitability' report re: LB? If I were him, I wouldn't listen to the talking heads - I'd go back.
I think part of the holdup is, that back in Feb, Opri wrapped all the actions (pat/fraud birth cert/custody/and something else I can't recall right now) into one single action, so there may not be a decision on final custody until all matters are settled including LB background? just guessing..
If LB does not return to the Bahamas in June then he will have a civil contempt and will not be able to return there at all....ever. This means that the child will not be able to visit either and in time, when she is older she would want to visit her mother and brother’s grave. If he were to fail to appear then his standing in any issues will be comprimised including the current motion that Virgie has pending to move the bodies to Texas.

So is it JUST Virgie holding things up? Hopefully when they meet later today the judge will say this is crazy and tell Larry to get on a plane. Hope they are all packed up and ready to go and he got his tickets!! Got my fingers crossed!!

I would like to thank all of the people who have supported my brother and our family. I am amazed by the support and love that has been sent to our family. It is so heart felt and appreciated in every way. However, for every good loving person out there, there is one greedy, unethical person waiting to make a name for themselves. I am very disturbed by some of the headlines and statements that have been published. I wish that the people who are creating these lies about my brother would stop and think about the things they say and how they hurt those involved. As adults, we brush this off because we undertand that there are sick people inthis world. But we have children, children that love their uncle Larry. These children go thru the check out line in the grocery store and can read these hideous rumors and lies that swarm the headlines of trash magazines. It is hard to explain to small children that these statements are false and have no merit. The tabloids that print this nonsense are as responsible as the person(s) who choose to sell the lies. I would like to take the time to ask you as supporters not to purchase these magazines even out of curiosity for what they have to say. Eventually if they can not sell the trash - they will stop printing it. They only print what sells.

Could another visit have been scheduled for Saturday or Sunday? According to the transcript, there are more than a couple of sources for the missed visit story.
Yet, who’s to say it wasn’t a planted story. In this case, anything goes.
I love that pic of the baby...she is such a beautiful child. Isn’t it amazing how babies are born with “no-necks” and then they grow one? My girlfriends and I jokingly and affectionately called our babies no-necks until they finally grew one :)
I had forgotten about that term of endearment until I was looking at DL’s no-neck photo!
A bit of entirely useless trivia in a slow news moment.
According to various reports that quote “reliable sources” LB invited VA to come and visit DL on Sunday at the Friday baby visit.
VA was a no show for some unknown reason. We may get to find out at the hearing this AM as it is an open hearing - an ominous sign for VA. Looks like the judges want her to get some public consequences for her actions.
Larry has made a deal with the devil. I would not be surprised if the reason why Virgie is fighting tooth and claw is because Howie and Larry are in that courtroom trying to get co-guardianship. Actually if Larry comes to the US and doesn’t go back then Stern will be cut off but if he goes back there’s a chance that it could be awarded to Stern. Larry needs Opri. One think Larry has done is made an agreement with Stern and later backed out. I hope he’s planning to do this now. Another thing about the inquest...if he doesn’t come back for custody I’m sure he won’t come back for the inquest.

I agree...she is a good writer, but not such a good judge of character! She’s not the only one either. Go to http://annanicoleandhowardkstern.com/2007/04/16/130/ and read some of the comments. Some of the posters there are seriously delusional! They are still referring to Dannielynn as Howard’s little girl! Some of them are paranoid about posting certain things because they believe that Virgie’s ‘camp’ and Larry’s ‘camp’ are reading their posts, and they don’t want to ‘give them any ideas’ bc it might be ‘detrimental to Howard’! LOL...they are certainly ‘blind’ in their devotion and protection of HKS!
Oh, and they also believe that Daniel either brought the Methadone pills with him to the Bahamas or G. Ben Thompson gave Daniel the pills when he arrived in the Bahamas! I’m not sure how they came up with that theory! LOL
