I keep saying but nobody responds - that is entirely NORMAL under English common law to appoint a guardian from the “other side” in the case of the death of one parent (where there is a lot of money and property involved) - this is not unusual nor devious nor criminal nor greedy. The guardian does not necessarily hold the child but they are accountable in law for the assets. This happened in our country at least until 1776 and maybe longer.

thanks ! that sounds perfectly reasonable to me. My concern is that neither the Court in Florida, nor the Court so far in Bahamas, is acting according to the reality 'we' are used to. I had expected the unmarried daughter's body to be immediately released to her mother, and her illegitimate child immediately given to her too. In 'my' world, the estranged father of the child would have been frowned upon, the imposter who held the baby hostage would have been jailed just for that alone, and any collaberation between the two men in the future would have been cause for intense gossip (of course, I accept i have 1950 morals, a little different than this younger, 'free-er' generation lol) .... the English common law in relation to Dannielynn seems fair and balanced, tho ;-)

I don't buy it either, not one bit. HKS sounds like a con man who is coached by his lawyer. Not a qualified nanny. And that is all he can claim to be. I never heard of a transitions period from a nanny. They come and they go.

Isn't there a gag order? Somebody stated that Virgie has not contacted child protective services. How does one know? Maybe she has. Isn't there a gag order?

Virige surely is not saint. But she is huge improvement over over HKS who had best is a criminally negligent caretaker.

If it’s true. Who knows, maybe HKS is the one who is saying NO. According to that reporter, it is HKS who says he doesn’t want Vigie to have any part in ANY of this! Problem is, LB’s behavior suggests it’s Virgie as well...but then again, what choice does he have but to appear to suck up to HKS...he doesn’t have custody YET. And perhaps you’re right about the Horizon’s thing. Maybe Virgie and Larry know that the baby is in ‘good’ hands, and he’s happy and encouraging her to continue fighting HKS, simply because he (LB) can’t.

Do we know why the courts refuse to separate these issues? As long as LB is willing to give Virgie visitation, etc., why can’t the courts just transfer custody to LB and then deal with Virgie and HKS on the issues HKS keeps stopping/delaying?

If Don Hogan was the kind of man Virgie said he was, she must have been infuriated that Anna looked him up. Not that I blame her. I don’t blame Anna for being curious, though. Human nature and all that.

One person is an accident, two people dying of the same thing within 5 months? I just don’t know. The courts can rule both “accidental”, but that doesn’t mean the ruling is the truthful one. From what I understand, Daniel was a straight arrow. He didn’t do recreational drugs.

She needed a pastor, not a shrink. If she didn’t get rid of friends who wanted her sober, than someone else sure did. It’s all about control. LOL, can you imagine if she had tried to seek spiritual guidance? Howie and crew would have imploded.

Forgot if I answered this or not, but saw another post that could be an answer re: Dr. E prescribing when they had Dr. Barrett. Maybe he couldn’t. Maybe they were working on a treatment plan for Anna, maybe they weren’t. At least, I’m glad to know somebody there contacted him and it appears he did see Anna

He sedated her before and after Daniel's funeral if you believe what has been reported. This info leads me to believe he could prescribe for and treat her ... and did.

We may never know what really happened if the inquest does not go forward.
