- it would have to be instilled guilt IMO We have a case of either one drug user (anna) two drug users (anna/stern) or three drug users (anna/stern/daniel). In Hollywood, FL, for four days, anna didn't have methadone wth her - could she also have Not had it with her during the time she was in the hospital? It doesn't seem unreasonable considering the Shelleys' testimony that Anna was relatively drug free thru the time they moved her to the Bahamas.
True, "Daniel accidently got the 'wrong' drink", is a valid question. As is who fixed that drink. But it shouldn't overshadow the question of, where did the pills in the bed/pocket come from and why were they there?
. And I won't agree with you that Daniel was a drug user. Only one surce of a quote saying he saw (Knew?) Daniel do drugs; Stern has been mute on the issue, And Anna exhibited extreme surprise at the autopsy results - that is why, she hired Wecht; Since Larry and Stern Currently Appear as sympathetic to each other, we cancel that testimony, and consider three geographically separate sources that colaborate that Daniel was a Not a methadone/drug user -the Grandmother, Daniel's Godmother, and, it's rumored, Martino. And then we add his own mother's testimony. that's four people that say he didn't.
If the pills were in Daniel's pocket during flight, why? Daniel was aspiring producer, considering the military..at 20 he'd be aware of the consequences of possession of illegal narcotics and the impact on his career and college grant eligibility. Would he risk blowing that?
- If we accept that Daniel didn't travel with drugs, WE can reasonably assume that if methadone was in the hospital room, we'd have some sort of 'duffel bag' or zip-purse, that could be hidden from the nursing staff and Daniel would have to find that without Stern or Anna seeing him.
If we accept Daniel didn't travel with drugs, and there were NO drugs at the hospital, then the only place Daniel could have obtained methadone from was the Horizons'.
doesn't make sense moment: Daniel was flying in for a permanent stay. Why would he put pills in his pocket frm the house, 'for later' when he knew he was returning to the home in a few hours anyway, and there was little supervision there? why get looped in a hospital room when he hadn't seen his mother in several months and had a new baby sister to play with and cuddle,(think Larry) when he could get looped any day of the week during the next week ?
Larry has been quoted recently that even though he and Anna were 'estranged', they still communicated by phone and emails around the time of the birth. if I were investigating, I'd like to learn more about phone/text/emails from Anna as to what she said to him about Daniel's death. Did she talk about 'sippy cups'? did she worry where the pills came from? I''d want to see about any emails/text/phone between he and Daniel, i.e., when was the last time he saw Daniel? what was the nature of their relationship in the five months prior when Daniel was in L.A. and Anna was in the Bahamas? Did Daniel approve of the sole custody suit being pursued against his mother? i.e, were they alienated? anything about Stern or Eroshevic? IMO those records alone could potentially be valuable to a case against [someone]
Anna could have a lot of guilt, but it would be of a different type, if there were no 'sippy cup' cocktails, and no drugs in the hospital. If there was no way for Daniel to have logically obtained PILLS in his pockets - her guilt would have been of a mother who couldn't protect her son from [someone] responsible for those pills being found on daniel's person/bed.
the loose pieces are -
a) origin of the otc medications
b) why Daniel's jeans were not included with the other garments in the ME 'envelope'?

Anchor: Well he might be the father, but the legal battles are far from over for LB and that’s because ANS’s mother is waging a new a fiercy custody battle for baby Dannylynn.
Q: I’m curious, what exactly does Virgie A. want?
A: Oh she wants several things, she actually admits that she is the one that is holding up this process, if you will. There are three distinct points of view that she has and she is holding on to the very end. There was a hearing yesterday with no resolution and in her mind that was a good thing, in the other players minds, not such a good thing.
She had a meeting yesterday afternoon in which her attorney, herself, LB and his attorney were to meet and then the nanny brought in little Dannylynn. She told us yesterday, that she actually got to hold her grandaughter for the first time and play with her for about a half hour, it was the first time she’s actually touched the child. She was very candid, didn’t want to go on camera, but She said she wants to be guardian of DL, wants to have guaranteed visitation rights, and she does want to have some type of custodial role over any future inheritance DL might have.
Now, as you might imagine HKS, who was ANS’s partner at the time of her death, and is actually the father named on little DL’s birth certificate, does NOT want Virgie to have ANY part of this. He told us Virgie was holding up the process and in his words, was proving to be who ANS told him that she was, which was obviously a negative connotation.
HKS though has had an open door policy now that LB has been declared DL’s father, he LETS Larry come in any time he wants and get to know his daughter, bond with her.
And then for his part, LB said it was a very good day for him in court...although he was confused yesterday that it hadn’t ended at that point. There is a hearing scheduled on Wed in which he’s expected to file some travel plans He told us he was going to be calling his travel agent, he wasn’t sure if it would be for one seat or two on the plane, but he did have a big smile on his face and he is very confident that he will soon be taking his daughter back to the states.
Q: Are you getting a sense of their relationship, meaning LB and VA, because at one point it was the two of them against HKS...I mean, is their anomisity between them or are they cordial?
A: You know, at least from VA’s point of view you don’t get the idea that there is animosity, I think she feels a little sorry for him (LB). I think she feels, in her words that HKS is sort of guiding LB in this process. She believes that HKS has turned Larry against her and this is becoming another element in all of this complication for getting this custody battle finalized, but the judge sould make some kind of ruling, or at least he’s expected to, on Wednesday and there has been some speculation that Larry could leave on a charter jet as early as Wed afternoon.

So, according to the video, Virgie wants three things:
A ‘guardianship’ role regarding DL.
Guaranteed Visitation
A ‘custodial’ role over any future inheritance by DL.
The video goes on to state that it is HKS who wants her to have no part in ANY of this. HKS!! This fight is between HKS and Virgie, HE is fighting her and holding things up, because he wants her to have NO PART IN ANY OF THIS, whereas, LB said it was a good day for him. But the media keeps misleading by portraying it as a custody battle between LB and Virgie, one that Virgie is holding up. The only person Virgie is holding up, is HKS!
Well, good for Virgie! If I was convinced that HKS had murdered both my daughter and grandson, I’d be pretty damn3d determined to do whatever it took to make certain HKS had NO role in any future ANYTHING having to do with Anna...so at least Virgie is demanding a supervisory role!! And Virgie must do it because all LB really cares about right now and has the ability to do anything about, is gaining custody of DL, so his hands are tied when it comes to HKS and he’s got to play HKS’s game and hopefully he is watching HKS’s every move when it comes to DL. In the meantime, I’ll bet, behind the scenes, LB completely supports VA’s trying to gain the upper hand over HKS in these matters, something that LB, at least for now, has NO STANDING, to do.
And note that it was during a meeting ONLY between VA and LB, that she FINALLY got to hold DL. HKS is still calling all the shots!

IMO, the base that Virgie is covering is this: Virgie co-executor of Anna's estate - a move to twart Stern's future interest and force immediate accountability of the expenditures/assets, (activity in the past year, etc.) I'm not sure if Virgie is asking for control of the trusts that Larry set up or Stern supposedly set up for the money they respectively made for the funeral/baby pics (some 7.4 mil?) but I AM very very curious as to who the executors are for those two separate trusts and sincerely hope it's not HKS(something we haven't been told yet)
Sep 15 ws laundry list fax; even more interesting would be if he was contacted Prior to Daniel's death..more specifically, around Aug 26 (second fed-x drug shipment) - now THAT would be interesting !
In a very misspelled prior post (sorry, reading glasses lol) I wonderred if Barrett would be able to prescribe, after being an addict..in the states, the DEA would pull their script priviledges...not sure the equivalent British/bahamaian agency policy?
And, wouldn’t KE have had many other options besides Chloral Hydrate? So why did she specifically choose CH, it is rarely prescribed isn’t it? Is it possible she chose that particular drug because it is so hard to detect and no one would be looking to find it in her system?
considering the deadline to submit to drug/dna testing (the following day?) AND considering the inquest upcoming in weeks, the piece of the puzzle that doesn't fit is, why would an attorney allow his drugged client to be televised repeatedly, and then allow a psychiatrist to prescribe chloralhydrate which would show on a drug screen?
is there anything in the coroner/tox report that explains the contents of either the 'brown liquid' in the jar, or the baby bottle that you've seen?

Aghhh good grief...that’s how I always explained it...he would use and abuse, throw me a bone, use and abuse, throw me a smaller bone, and so on until eventually I only got crumbs, but by that point I was GRATEFUL for even those. All the while, I questioned, is it him or me, it took years to realize and accept that I had been entitled to the whole piece of cake!!
Anyone who has ‘known’ a psycopath, IMO, has known he is one and sees him coming from a mile away. Maybe I need to take another thread break and would feel a little better instead if I go read about illegals urinating and defecating on our city streets.

well, i would qualify that with, Eroshevich says, she tried them. I'm not buying Anna was taking all the drugs being ordered = that robaxin sticks out like a sore thumb - I'd really like to see the pharm records from say, 5/06-8/06 and compare them with the pharm records from say, 9/06-2/07. I'm betting the whole crew was stoned.
for what it's worth, I can see the point looking at it from the perspective that Virgie would want specific dates for the baby/child to be in Texas, in order to arrange for her family to be organized and able to participate, too. It would be unreasonable to expect Virgie and her entire family to jump on a plane to fly to Hollywierd each time to see the baby, especially at Virgie's age. I would venture, as liberal as the Calif courts are, and with Calif grandparent rights, they would agree. It's not an unreasonable request and is similar to an arrangement that Larry would have to make with Anna, had she lived (that the baby/child would be with each on specific dates)
if i could be allowed to give some perspective also. I have lived in my town for over 25 years. Same house for 15. I'm settled. I have ruuts.
If my daughter and grandson died, and my daughter was in some sort of eviction/legal dispute that would likely take months if not years to resolve, at an anticipated cost of tens of thousands of dollars, with no guarantee of title, in a second-world-at-least country, full of bad memories, I'd likely not want to move and leave everything, and everyone, I know.
I'd know my daughter didn't pay the first mortgage payment and was staying there illegally; so I wouln't bother. I'd thank the true owners for all the help and kindness they gave my daughter, and go home to my recliner and flower garden, bringing the bodies of my kin with me. JMO
in all seriousness, is bangs a new fashion thing or maybe an east-coast thing? i'm trying to remember the last time i saw a man with bangs but i'm only picturing younger boys - that would be a good question of the day - what hollywierd stars currently have bangs? Maybe tom cruise but his were short and stubby and didnt' work for him?
