Have you ever seen the show that profies the Wincester House? The widow of the gun maker was so tortured by guilt and ghosts that she kept adding on to the house with stairs going nowhere and whatnot? I think it was on hgtv or a&e?

It was only when Stern appeared at the Shelleys that Anna's behavior changed. It was only when Stern/Eroshevic appeared in the Bahamas, that Anna was back on multiple drugs and multiple doses. It would have taken more than methadone maintenance, for Anna to have lost custody. When you view the clown video in that light, Sterns' commentary, starts to make sense - and IMO ties in with the 'committment ceremony'.(7,135)
Imo, Anna was so throrougly sick of Howard, he resorted to blackmail to keep her in line. For all we know, she may very well was trying to dry herself out. The goatherd had to prevent that at all costs.
I didn't know that Opri is such a fierce child advocate. She sure knows the devil when she sees him, though. I'll give her props for that.

I can’t speak for AZ, but she sure doesn’t like Howard,lol! I don’t think I have any personal reasons, but I’ve tried all along to keep my personal feelings out of this saga. But, maybe for me, it partly goes way back to when I watched a number of episodes of the ANS show and formed an opinion of Stern then. I did feel sorry for him, up to a point, saw him as being in love with Anna but willing to put up with her through thick and thin and being loyal to her, regardless of how she acted or what she said. I’ve never seen him as a strong, controlling man. Weak and wimpy, yes. I simply differ from you in that it hasn’t yet been proven to me he’s a sociopath or psychopath who planned to off 2 people that I think he honestly cared a great deal about. Anna was his career and his life and he defended her to his great detriment, and probably couldn’t see the forest for the trees. I neither like nor dislike him, yet.
There may be one thing that influences me a little, but I’m not positive how much it does. I’ve mentioned it on one of the other threads. Twenty-five years ago I was an alcoholic. Granted, there might be differences between alcoholism and addiction to prescription drugs, but addiction is pretty much addiction, in my book. During that time (late twenties), people enabled me, but even if they hadn’t, it wouldn’t have stopped me until I hit my bottom and gave up. I would never have wanted one of those people to have been charged with a crime if they’re enabling or facilitating my getting booze ended up in my death. I knew those people well and they cared about me, and vice versa. They weren’t bad people. So many just don’t know exactly what to do or how to handle addicts, and often those living with an addict for so many years also become ensnared- whether they partake of the addiction substance or not. It colors their thinking and actions, and it probably was true of Howard. They need education and help, too. My addiction was my responsibilty. I certainly place a great deal of blame on Dr. E and yes, some on Howard. The inquest hasn’t happened yet, so I’m also waiting for info that will come out of that. I’ve always said I could and might easily change my mind about Stern. Don’t know if that helps you any, but that’s it in a simple nutshell.

Good question - why haven’t the Bahamas hit HKS with violating the gag order? He appears full of entitlement - a common trait of the sociopath.
You may very well be right. From what I could see, most of the key witnesses in the FL hearing had CYA moments. As honest a person as I am, I would have probably had less than stellar moments anwering questions under those circumstances, too. Especially with TV cameras on.
I do hope there’s some, so that DL’s inheritance isn’t completely eaten up by legal bills that have no end in sight. From what I hear, corps. and people do this all the time ( setting up things to avoid taxes, liens, court awards, etc) and it’s often legal. Let the forensic accountants, if it comes to that, go over everything with a fine-toothed comb. It gives me a headache :)
Good post, and this time-frame is what counts most. This is what I really want to know much more about. I do think it’s safe to say Daniel’s death sent Anna right back into heavy drug use, and while we know she SHOULD have been in a hospital/rehab setting, those around her tried to handle her by themselves and shouldn’t have. I don’t think Anna was about to go into a rehab because of Dannielynn and Larry’s legal petitions and wild horses probably couldn’t have dragged her into one. Dr. E. royally messed up in her role during this time.
Oh, it most definitely is a headache. A deliberately designed headache. I cannot say where Anna’s soul ended up, but I’d like to think she’s looking down cheering Larry and Virgie on to protect her baby girl.
Here is what I don't understand. She had a Bahamian psychiatrist who is not only a former addict but works heavily in that field. (Dr. Timothy Barrett) We know he was on the scene since the time of Daniel's death and treated her during that time too. If you say ANS didn't want to go to treatment due to DL and LB's petitions (OK, I'll give her that for the sake of this discussion) then why was KE's name on any of the prescriptions? Was Barrett trying to get her "clean" and KE was thwarting that effort? I just cannot come up with any justification for KE prescribing anything to ANS at all when she had a licensed Bahamian physician capable of doing it.
I know what you are trying to say (and BTW good for you getting sober) I am not certain HKS did't partake in substance abuse with ANS.
I just watched a onehour special on CNN with Sanjae Gupta, if anyone gets a chance to watch it, at the end they get into HGH -- seems this is a restricted drug as far as prescribing is concerned (only for limited reasons is it legal) and people who are taking this are injecting themselves on a DAILY basis...
Made me think of ANS butt and the abscesses.
