It's a long story, but true... a friend of ours went there one year with her boss to arrange a company sales outing and they were going to have something at Rosehall.... she knocked on the door and it was answered by a woman, who showed them around... the man they were to meet was not present.

The next day he called and asked when they would be there to discuss the plans with him, they said they had been there the day before and this lovely woman had shown the, all around the downstairs and the upstairs.

She said there was this long silence and he asked her to describe the woman, which she did... he said no woman like that works here and no one is allowed upstairs, that is roped off to all visitors; I think you were met by the resident ghost....

Needless to say my friend was totally freaked out... you'd have to hear her tell the story to really appreciate it.

He did seem to , on the surface, but I had a gut feeling and now the stories have been coming out. The main reason I didn’t think too highly of him at first was the fact he abandoned Anna and her mother and never seemed to care enough to contact Anna for years and years. I figured there was lots more to THAT story.

You are being terribly rude all of a sudden. for someone so new to FreeRepublic. to someone who has been here for much longer than yourself...I think tabor is within her rights in posting her opinion, as are you and as am I without someone accusing them of being in someone’s family or pockets. I don’t believe it is legal, if not in the Bahamas certainly it is not legal for a doctor in California to prescsribe a narcotic drug to a patient he is not personally seeing and it’s illegal to send it out of State to a patient... one reason Kapoor is under investigation and, imagine, Key Pharmacy, too.

Thanks for the information, but after reviewing your posts at http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/user-posts?name=tabor , you seem to have an agenda...in that you do not support either Larry or Virgie, but you do support HKS...and that is absolutely YOUR RIGHT, but I believe you’ve misrepresented yourself in some of these posts, which is MY RIGHT...so Good Night and I apologize if I have read you wrong, but I disagree with most of your posts, and as I stated, feel that you have an agenda...that agenda being to defend HKS...and I won’t buy into that, but thanks all the same!!

I'm just saying your comments to tabor, basically calling her a troll for HKS are rude, she has been here several years and didn't just join FR for this thread. We all have life experiences that make us see this case in different ways and we may not agree and can certainly discuss, without calling each other names and acting like our position is wrong, just because it doesn't agree with our own position..

I'm certain my position is different than your position and mine is certain different from tabor if she is liking HKS, but that is her perogative and doesn't make any of us any less important on this thread.

Not offended. I made my sorta neutral position known thousands of posts ago. I’ve tried hard to not be on any particular side. Something about this has stuck in my craw from the beginning, and maybe I’m being really stubborn or stupid, but I’ve not been able to draw and quarter Howard throughout this whole thing. I honestly can say I’ve not been particularly “anti-Howard” or pro or anti anyone. Except, if I’m going to be REALLY honest, I soured a bit on Virgie during the Fl. court hearings and will admit to not being overly fond of her. Up to this point, my gut feelings about her appear to be on target. I DO wish her to be a good grandma to DL and to visit her. I know most here think I’m crazy for not hating a man who happened to be with 2 people when they died using some drugs he played a part in enabling, but I just don’t. I don’t like it and it’s wrong and misguided. I don’t think he is an evil person by nature. I WILL change my mindset if Daniel’s inquest shows he had intentions to harm Daniel. I don’t think he ever had intentions to harm Anna.

Stern leaving the back door of the ME’s office, standing with his attorneys, they appear to be casually talking.
Virgie comes out front door. Being helped down the step. Appears distressed.
separate black SUVs waiting...Court TV comments ‘when you become a player’ you travel in a black SUV.
Virgie’s SUV passes Stern’s...comment made (this is as close as they will ever get to each other).

[states]: I did not call. [LEE] did not call while with her.
