ANS had NO contact with her natural father until she had a PI track him down as an adult. Her establishing contact and a relationship after Virgie had told her all her life that he was a drug addict and convicted sex offender was another one of the wedges between them.
Weelllllll. Everyone here liked him. I kept my mouth shut, because I don’t.
As it turned out, some criminal records have surfaced, I think thanks to Donna Hogan’s “book” coming out - that show he went to jail (evidently not state prison) for several years for rape.
The specifics seem to have escaped those who published this, so I havent been able yet to examine the dates and things to see if this was pertaining to Virgie’s 10-yo sister (that’s the most persistent rumor) or someone outside the family or some other incidents or incident entirely.
When I know it, the thread will know it.

Oh, yeah - that was at Horizons. It was when HKS allegedly “returned” home and found it ransacked! By now, they’ve stated the house was ransacked at least 50 times.
But yes, it was when those mean old homeowners, Thompson and Shelley, cut off the electricity! And before Pol and Patrik could ride to the rescue and get it cut back on!

Interestingly enough, WELLS FARGO BANK (named as 4th choice of Executor in Anna’s 2001 Will) is the ONLY Executor named that is NOT EXEMPT (since it is a ‘corporate executor’) from LIABILITY under the Will. See “Section 3.7 Liability of Executor” in Anna’s Will. That means that ANY executor EXCEPT Wells Fargo Bank is EXEMPT from liability for any act, default or obligation of the Estate UNLESS the Executor’s bad faith, willful misconduct, or gross negligence can be PROVEN! I just think it’s interesting that the “Liability Clause” doesn’t apply to Wells Fargo Bank (as a corporate executor). It only applies to “HKS and friends” apparently!!

I’ll try again. No I wouldn’t fight her companion as executor of her estate. If that’s who she chose, and if her will shows that, so be it. In our family, if anyone appoints someone as executor or guardian, we make copies of the documents and give them to the executor and/or guardian. If Virgie has a document as such, then she has every right to fight HKS.
Haven’t a clue. If and when the will is filed, if it wasn’t already, would we necessarily hear about it right away?

I guess I’m confused then bc one of the media reports stated that Larry could leave the Bahamas with Dannielyn next Wednesday IF he had all of the proper paperwork; yet, there was another report that the next court date COULD be more than a month away (since the Judge was going on vacation)??? That led me to believe that Larry WOULD be leaving the Bahamas with Dannielynn next Wednesday, even though all of the ‘custody’ issues have not been resolved! Which is why I thought the only thing LEFT to resolve is the Executor/Guardian issue between HKS and Virgie?? Did anyone else get that impression?
My guess is Hot Smoochie Lips (how I hate typing that!) received moneys Anna earned from appearances, modeling, pictures, or whatever combination. Who knows where the assets went, if there were any assets left. Maybe rolled over into something else, maybe just spent.

What I recall reading about the Young Dubliners was that Stern either wanted to set something up for them, or did so, for free. I think one of the old band members said that, and he also said he was amazed that Stern, as a lawyer, wanted no “cut” of their earnings or pay. Then again, this was long ago and all were just starting out. That band went defunct and there were no earnings, IIRC.
I agree with you totally ms. gumshoe! What Pierce did to his father, J. Howard, was IMO WAY WORSE than what J. Howard, JR. did, and Pierce should be punished for it. Also, I believe that the Pierce Marshall family could be convinced to ‘settle’ the case since Anna is no longer alive. I think they would be fine with setting up a TRUST FUND for Dannielynn (in a FAIR amount, but not half of J. Howard’s fortune), but I think that will ONLY happen if HKS is COMPLETELY OUT OF THE PICTURE!! I agree that the Marshall family has no love lost for Anna, BUT they also have NO AFFECTION for HKS!
And am I correct in saying that about half of that $88 mil “awarded” by that court was at least partially for punitive damages concerning Pierce Marshall’s interferences/shady deals?
