KE just seems immensely cavalier about the whole medical obligation she had to provide care and/or to document that she had exhausted all avenues of getting her very ill patient to proper care... Or at minimum, to have documented that her patient was clearly recovered, out of danger, and no longer at risk without additional attention.

Yes, she is playing it off as ‘just one of those unfortunate things’, and not acknowledging her role in this at all. I hope she pays dearly for it, the witch.

You sure can get an AMEN! I’m sorry, but a woman will decide within the first few minutes (days possibly) if you are ‘friend’ material, or dating material. If for 12 years he was ‘friend’ material, that meant she did not find him attractive. And there seemed to be three things ANS found attractive, money, adoration from females and strong firm males. Howard had none of this going for him.

Excellent medical procedural documentation.

If.. BIG IF...KE tries to claim that she was only ANS’ friend/companion and not a treating psychologist/physician then she is in jeopardy for the lethal prescriptions and the motive for prescribing them.

She cannot have it both ways.

Well, see, there ya go! everyone was ‘just friends’ or ‘just her attorney’ or ‘just (fill in the blank)...except for one thing - Stern was the ‘committment ceremony’ S.O. - he was also allegedly her ‘fiance’ with a wedding just days away he told us in multiple interviews.

That’s what ticks me off about all these people, they are what they are to suit them. They aren’t responsible for not getting her medical attention because ‘we felt she had medical attention, we are nurses, doctors, etc...’ BUT, they aren’t responsible for her dying because ‘we are just her friends’. Same goes for the “lawyer/Spouse”.

Has anyone been on any of the Virginia Tech threads? I’ve just been lurking, and I have never seen so much hate for fellow FReepers. There are so many “thread police” telling others that their comments are wrong. One guy just said to another that if he starts a new thread, would he not make any comments on it because his comments are dumb. Sheesh!

I am so glad we all get along over here. Three 20,000+ threads and no ignorant remarks. That’s so refreshing! Luv ya all!

I’ve been on one and the emotional decisions/impressions of some fellow FReepers are sad. So I’ve tried to stay off of them. I too am proud of the tone on this thread. We’ve some people disagree, but noone has been nasty about it...yet.

I agree. I visited and it’s mostly appalling. I think the impotence at not having been able to have saved these innocents - not that things were done badly (although they may have been and there’s a sorrowful brilliance in hindsight), brings out the rage in people.

Many posters on most of those VT boards seem to be just trying to lash out at someone. Lots of “not so thoughtful” posts.

I would like to recommend a movie that is beautiful. It's called "Miss Potter," the story of Beatrix Potter starring Renee Zelweiger.

I live in the country, and this movie is not playing at any of the multiplexes near me. We had to drive to a college town about 45 minutes away to find it at an independent theater.
