"Anna Nicole Smith's Film Finale at the Cannes Film Festival in May"

Anna Nicole Smith's last ever film is to receive its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival. The festival will be held from May 16-May 27.

'Illegal Aliens' was originally intended to be released in April but her untimely death and the subsequent legal battles surrounding her burial place and the paternity of her daughter Dannielynn pushed the date back to next month.

The movie will now be shown at the world famous movie event shortly after it is released on DVD on May 1 in the US.

It is being screened "out of competition", meaning it won't be eligible for any of the festival's prizes.

In the film, Anna Nicole plays one of three extra-terrestrials who can "morph into super-hot babes and arrive to protect the earth from the intergalactic forces of evil".

Just out of curiosity, do you have a medical background?

A marriage would not have kept ANS from testifying because Daniel’s death happened before the “marriage.” This was discussed in Seidlin’s court. HKS even said he was given bad advice on the subject.

As far as ANS being putty in HKS’s hands goes ... IF the inquest went forward and she had to testify there is no way he could have controlled what she said or the statements she had already given to the police in the Bahama’s. IMO, the fact she was putty in his hands is not a substantial motive to want to keep her alive. IF what the nannies say is true then ANS was not happy with HKS and there is more to the story.

The inquest is the BIGGEST hurdle that HKS has to overcome in all of this. I have said it before and I’ll say it again ... IF the inquest jurors recommend a murder charge and IF the Attorney General agrees with their suggestion ... we will see HKS stand trial for murder in the Bahamas for which there is NO bail. He will have to sit in the Fox Hill Prison until trial. I have researched the place and HKS does NOT wanna go there! If anyone is wondering why HKS is fighting the inquest which is not even a trial against him at this point ... I think what I have just pointed out should make that crystal clear.

You could also look at the drug laws and the sentences involved if found guilty. Let’s just say HKS is gonna make beating the inquest a top priority!

Found this article dated September 13, 2006. It gives a time-line for Daniel's arrival to the hospital, when he helped Anna to the bathroom, time he was found unresponsive, and time pronounced dead:

On Tuesday Barry Rassin, President and CEO of the Doctors hospital said everything had been tried to save Daniel. "We can confirm that Daniel Smith arrived at the hospital late evening, 11 p.m., Saturday Sept. 9. He spent the entire evening in the room and remained as a visitor with his mother and newly born sister," said Rassin. "On Sunday, Sept. 10, at 6:20 a.m., it was noted by one of the associates that Daniel was attending to his mother's comfort."

He added that at 9:38 a.m Daniel was unresponsive and doctors had been called in and CPR "resuscitation efforts using advanced life support protocol continued for 22 minutes without response," he said. Daniel was pronounced dead at 10:05 a.m.

I’m sure you’re right. The combination of anti-anxiety drugs alone is unheard of. I cannot imagine what would cause a doctor to prescribe 4 different types for one patient. The fact that they were all within prescribed ranges on autopsy means ANS was being drugged according to a schedule, but why so many? It’s stupefying.
I hadn’t known that the judge in SF ordered a DNA test for the day after ANS died. If that is true, weren’t they supposed to be on the Cracker that day? Was the plan to flee the Bahamas on the boat with the baby in order to evade the test? Or was getting her off Methadone necessitated out of fear that it would show up in the test (if a drug test was also ordered)?
Maybe the chloral hydrate was needed when the Methadone was reduced. Or was the chloral hydrate the drug of choice for a murder? With all the others mixed in, it would simply look like one more ingredient of a cocktail for a bereaved psych patient, as Perper concluded? Muddy the waters with a huge mixture of precribed meds? But why would the murderer leave his and her names on the bottles? (The nannies said the labels on the bottles were missing.) Did they have to put the labels on to get them through customs?
Just trying to figure out what are the weeds and what are the flowers (when they’re sprouts, it’s hard to know).

The times seem to add up though. About 1:15AM.

In the People article, it says in the police record that nurse noted that sometime after 2:00AM Stern left the hospital despite having already purchased soda and food *an hour earlier.*

Anna tells Nanny the day after Daniel died that he left hospital with HKS for awhile after pics were taken. HKS tells LK that he went out for food alone.

Was HKS distancing himself from Daniel?

You don’t have big breasts if you don’t believe this part of the story:) Anna’s breasts had to have caused daily back, neck and other pains. Many women want those big ones made smaller because of the pain. However...Anna was also a drug addict, so any pain was an excuse for more pain killers.

You seem so knowledgeable about SSRI’s and methadone. If you know about drugs, could I ask - Wasn’t there something else they could have used besides chloral hydrate to ween ANS off of the methadone. Why again do you think they had to go to chloral hydrate? Isn’t that really old and dangerous? And wouldn’t the norazepam and the other sedative things they found in her blood have indicated that she was addicted to lots of stuff, not just the methadone. Maybe the methadone wasn’t really a problem anymore. Perper said she hadn’t had methadone for at least 3 days. Do you think that was accurate?

I have always discounted that jonesbahamas story about Daniel being “the man” at the Esso On-the-Run. All the testimony said for public consumption was “the man” and that newspaper took it to mean Daniel - but it wasn’t Daniel, it was Howard.

What make you think that KE KNEW what she was doing? There’s nothing to indicate that it was something that had a good medical explanation. Nothing in Eroshvich’s behavior seems to indicate she was behaving as an ethical, intelligent doctor. The stuff re abandoning ANS when she was sick and beggin her to stay. Signing her checks. It all just looks like sickening exploitation. She used ANS as much as HKS did.

I dont’ think anyone can come up with intelligent answers about the medications. I doubt there are any GOOD explanations that hold water for why so many drugs, at once and what all their addiction possibilities totaled up to. It just reeks of exploitation.
