AND he's trying to make grounds for a "prejudiced" jury at the same time. But any homosexuality is not the issue....the unexplained deaths of two young people, whose death is benefitting Howard and will continue to benefit Howard is the issue.
And then there's Virgie...and he couldn't get a damn thing out of the deposition with O'Quinn. He was looking for names!! and was told more than once that there's something called "confidentiality".
It wasn’t really detox...They ripped her off the stuff...and if you look at the symptoms of quick withdrawal, you’d see that they match with what was going on with her body and the flu like symptoms. True she had a butt infection...but that wouldn’t make you puke. The Tami FLU meds was a “farce”.... Likely, any one of the various antibiotics would have nipped the infection just as well...but they wanted you to see the word “FLU”. They could now explain the puking as a “flu symptom” rather than a quick withdrawal reaction.
Well here we are - Charlotte & I. So far it appears that Rita was just following the old maxim: “When in Rome..” She realized she had a scammer looking for money (Lincoln Bain) so she offered him money. That attorney for the nannies is TOUGH! Rita wanted affidavits for the court case.

Don Clark, the retired FBI agent who is currently working for Virgie, O’Quinn etc.,.
He was not Rita’s source - but he corroborates her book on the matter of the nannies - who told him they had seen Anna watching a sex tape of Larry & HK$. (By which time they must have seen photos of Larry Birkhead & knew who he is/was).
Stern, a bit rattled IMHO: "Totally false. Totally false. I don't believe Anna would have ever said that because it's false. And Jackie Hatten was never in the same room with Larry and myself. Absolutely impossible. Jackie was out of Anna's life before Anna met Larry. ---"
Lin Wood steps in: "She was never in th same state where Larry and Howard Stern were together. She never met Larry Birkhead until after Anna died."
Now, how would either of those two know what state or city Jackie was in if she wasn't around Anna, had not been around her since 2001?
Greta’s show was balanced. Don Clark offered as how Rita walked into a set up...by Bain & the nannies’ attorney.
The tapes showed that Rita’s long-time boyfriend Tom was prepared to offer the nannies a $15,000 contract with InTouch magazine - but Rita repeatedly said she could only offer to pay expenses of $1000 for travel to the US for depositions in the lawsuit. She was asking for affidavits & interviews (with tape)from the nannies to verify what she had learned from a P.I. Lincoln Bain made an accusation that Rita grabbed his face and attempted to kiss him on the lips. Greta said “Rita is a toucher* are you sure you didn’t misunderstand? He said NO. IMHO this was after the *fight* ..Rita probably grabbed his face to deck him!!!!
Bain hates Rita! Told her he was a millionaire at 28 - he grabbed her tape-recorder - that it was not a phone - he knows the difference - they don’t use coconuts in the Bahamas.
I missed much of what Lincoln said, but from the little I saw of him he came across like a conman. Not credible. The whole thing IMHO was a scam to get money.
Greta said she that Leroy has ordered the publisher to pull all copies of Rita's book tomorrow. Since the cat is out of the bag about the tape, there is something else in the book that HKS is very worried.
Have to run to the bookstore tomorrow and get my copy of "Blonde Ambition."
I read a bit of the transcript and what got me if the reason why he wasn’t going to sue Jackie Hatten. Because she didn’t have any money. I think Larry King was goading him on this.

IIRC - When Jackie saw them together in the LA house - she probably had no desire to meet Larry - too embarrassing - and perhaps he snuck out the back door. The boys were probably too engrossed to notice her when she looked through the crack in the door.
That was one strange living arrangement - people going in & out all day & night;)
I check out a Bahamian message board and people were slamming Rita because they said she thought she could come and bully them because the nannies and Lincoln because they were black. It’s not about that..it’s about right and wrong. Rita was set up and it sounds like she was on the up and up and maybe the boyfriend was getting a wee bit overenthusiastic.
I think LK was goading him, too. Wish I had recorded it.
Jackie said they didn’t see her. Also if I’m remembering correctly it wasn’t at Anna’s house..it was at some party at someone elses house and that may be how Jackie was able to get by Howie the gatekeeper. If that’s the case all we need is the host of that party to come forward and say yes...Jackie and Anna were together.

Why the hell was Rita in the Bahamas by herself? She should have hired Pro Pinder to subpoena those nannies...which I guess is what she will have to do now.
That attorney - if she had been on the up & up - should have advised Rita of the proper way to obtain testimony from her clients - not shake her down or try to entrap/extort her!
Come to think of it, you're right - why isn't he suing Jackie for future proceeds? She might write a book.
