Wouldn’t you love to hear that a lot of HKS’ and LB’s lawsuits had been dismissed, and their attorney’s had been warned against filing frivolous lawsuits?!! I don’t have a problem if the lawsuit is legal, but when used to intimidate and violate a persons right to an opinion is, IMO, going to the extreme.

I remember having Betty Grable and Rita Hayworth paper dolls! Did any of you ever play paper dolls?

I played with paper dolls but, no offense intended here, I wasn't even thought of when Betty Grable and Rita Hayworth were big movie stars. Even Marilyn Monroe was a wee bit before my time.

Go to your room!

Here’s the item on Mark Hatten - (also some HK$ & LB video)
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/20648780/

Howard K. Stern was just slapped with a $100 million lawsuit by Mark Hatten, Anna Nicole’s former lover.

In the lawsuit, obtained by “Access Hollywood,” Mark Hatten alleges Stern not only killed Anna Nicole and her son Daniel — claims Howard has denied in the past — but also accuses Stern of trying to murder Hatten by giving him a “toxic blend of narcotics.”

I love it! He has enough cahones to pull it off! Go Hollywood!!!!!!

I think you are right about some kind of MPD. I don’t know what DID is. Virgie said she could always tell how Anna was feeling or what mood she was in depending on what name she used. I believe Anna even commented on how she would use different names for her different moods. Virgie said she knew Anna was doing good when she used the name “Vickie”. I *think* Nicole was the stripper persona.

It’s Dissociative Identity Disorder I think....the same thing as MPD. I really think someone put a hurting on her when she was young. She blamed Virgie in her later life but sometimes memories can be manipulated.

LOL

All I can say, Sweetie, is...you are wise beyond your years! Or is it possible I am suffering more from dementia than I realized? :)

Nobody here is suffering from dementia from what I've read. :) Perhaps one could say HKS and LB are demented but I really think the word evil suits them to a T. I can only hope that given time the two of them will get caught.

Oh, I had paper dolls! Played with them endlessly - long before Barbie came out (that was 1959).

My favorites were the Lennon Sisters. In fact, I can’t recall any of my others, lol. Oh, except for one “old-time” pin-up type, Ann Blythe. I had no idea who she was at the time, but my mother bought them for me - I remember that set because she was much larger scale than all my others, so she kind of towered over all of them when they were all standing up - and her clothes didn’t fit anyone else, lol.

Oh, I did have at least one set of Elizabeth Taylor paper dolls, because I remember she had on the slip she wore in BUtterfield 8 for her “underneath” clothing. Also, Cyd Charisse. Ann Miller. Still thinking about this!

Before I graduated to the “store-bought” sets in their portfolios, I always cut out Betsy McCall and her clothes from McCall’s magazine. She wasn’t in every issue, which always aggravated me, lol.

Also, she wasn’t as much fun for me to play with because I had *demonstrated mismanagement of my crafts supplies* at age 3 and wasn’t allowed to have paste to make the Betsy doll into a cardboard cut-out stand-up.

When my mother died (I was age 40, mind you), we found a little cache of scissors, Scotch tape and Elmer’s glue in the farthest back area of the highest shelf in the kitchen. She was still hiding it all, tho I’d been gone for over 20 years, lol.

I wasn’t allowed to have Kleenex, either, because I always made hundreds of “roses” and “carnations” from them. Woe on me if I had a cold!

Haven’t read back through this yet...did you all catch the brief report by Geraldo and are you still watching? His live show is being interrupted by what looks like about 100 protestors...they have him surrounded.

Your mother must have been very good looking because I think Rita Hayworth was an extremely beautiful woman. I love that thing she did with her hair in the movie "Gilda."

Now that you mentioned those Betsy McCall cut outs I remember them well. Thanks for reminding me of that.

Yeah, my mother was pretty - but mostly, she wore her brunette hair long and over one eye like Rita Hayworth, lol, *way way back then.* By the time she had me, she had cut it housewife-y.

Betsy McCall spanned several generations!
