I keep thinking about something. Anna was a tall person. Larry Birkhead (assuming he is daddy) is not short either; he was about the same height as Anna. I see pictures of the baby and she seems so small. That concerns me. Could her growth have been stunted due to Anna’s drug usage? Or, is the kid a throwback genetically to Anna’s mom who is not tall. Anna’s father was fairly tall also. Why is the baby so tiny? Was she not being fed enough? Just wondering.

No original of the will??

I thought that it was kind of strange that Howard was appointed Guardian of Daniel on the LAST TWO PAGES of the will. Anna had only known Howard for a few years and appointing your attorney is very strange in itself. At age 15, a lot of courts would likely give Danny a choice and I doubt it would be Howard....more likely Virgie.

I haven’t seen any recent pictures...if you’re referring to something recent can you provide a link? I’d like to see how much she’s grown.

I started breaking out in little round red patches that would bleed if I scratched at them. They pop up all over, including on my hands. I was diagnosed with a form of psoriasis called guttate (pronounced like “gut”). Most people get psoriatric psoriasis (about 90%). About 10% get my kind of psoriasis, with the little red spots that itch and peel and bleed. Have you been checked for psoriasis? It’s an outside possibility.

I too have hypothyroidism. And I wonder at the connections between my skin condition and that also. Who knows. I lather up with so many lotions and potions now, I’m a walking pile of creams. If misery loves company, you’ve got plenty of it. My condolences to both of us, LOL!

I don’t think DO is going to walk up and hand HKS a bill. I don’t think anyone was suggesting she was going to do that and/or be successful at it.

Will she ask the court for her attorney fees if LB is deemed the father? That would not surprise me at all!

Will the court “order” HKS to pay the bill? I hope so! Maybe that is why it was so outrageous ... who knows LOLOL

“It certainly will be interesting to hear if and when KE ‘lawyers up’ and with whom. Would she have need of a lawyer to deal with the Medical Board, or, would she hire someone because she is expecting, in addition to the medical board, having criminal charges that need defending?”

Both. Evidence and conclusions from the Medical Board would spill over into the other. Maybe she’s tired of her license, but she wouldn’t want to go to prison.

I can’t. I was going on pictures I have seen of the baby on TV, like Showbiz Tonite, ET, etc. That and articles that have spoken to her low weight and small size and questions as to why that might be. Makes me wonder, considering Anna’s height, along with Larry’s and Anna’s father’s. All of them pretty tall. Only Virgie seems short. I wonder if they can test the baby’s hair when Larry gets hold of her, and see if any drugs show up in the follicles. Probaby too much time has gone by for that. Probably another reason Howard Stern was secreting away the baby, until she gained a little weight and any drugs would be out of her system from the time of her birth.

By: Chris Taylor on 4/10/2007

The father of Anna Nicole Smith’s baby Dannielyn will finally be revealed today.

DNA tests are due to be announced which will finally clear up the bitter paternity suit over the late model’s seven-month old daughter.

A number of men including Smith’s lawyer Howard K Stern, photographer Larry Birkhead and former bodyguard Alexander Denk all claim to have fathered the child.

The true dad will be in line for a chance to get their hands on Smith’s claim to the estate of her dead husband, oil tycoon J Howard Marshall.

PLP: Bribery Investigation Irrelevant

By Quincy Parker

The Progressive Liberal Party’s Candidates’ Committee knew the police were investigating bribery allegations against Shane Gibson and nominated him to run in Golden Gates anyway, according to Raynard Rigby.
Mr. Rigby is both a member of the committee and the party’s National Chairman.

Chief Superintendent of Police Hulan Hanna told the Journal on Thursday that the police investigation of allegations was in fact still underway.

Confronted with the news that the investigation was still ongoing, Mr. Rigby told the Journal it’s fair to assume the committee knew about, and in fact, discussed the investigation.

“I think you could make a fair assumption that it did arise,” he said. “I think you can draw that conclusion from the mere fact that he has been announced as the PLP standard-bearer for the Golden Gates constituency.

“The Candidates’ Committee of the PLP was satisfied in his application to be reconsidered as a candidate.”

Mr. Rigby said it was “really a question of opinion” as to whether the fact that the investigation into the allegations should have weighed on the Candidates’ Committee’s determination.

Asked to defend the committee’s decision to nominate Mr. Gibson despite the police investigation, Mr. Rigby explained that the process is confidential.

“The difficulty for me is [that] I’m an active member of the party’s Candidates’ Committee. It’s really [that] the deliberations of the Candidates’ Committee are by and large confidential. No member of the committee, including myself, is at liberty to discuss the deliberations of that committee,” he said. “And I’m not sure that I can go any further than I’ve gone already.”

It has been alleged to the police that Mr. Gibson received an expensive Rolex wrist watch from the late American celebrity and Bahamas permanent resident Anna Nicole Smith under circumstances that could suggest that the watch was a gift in exchange for the former minister’s alleged role in accelerating the deceased celebrity’s receipt of permanent residency in The Bahamas without the right to work.

Mr. Gibson has repeatedly and vehemently denied the allegations, insisting that he never received any gift from Ms. Smith or anyone else as thanks for intervening in the application process for permanent residence in The Bahamas.

Speaking from behind the traditional veil of police discretion, Mr. Hanna would only confirm on Thursday that the police investigation of Mr. Gibson was continuing. He refused to say whether police had spoken with Mr. Gibson or anyone else as part of the investigation.

According to former Prime Minister Hubert Ingraham, who has said he brought the allegations against Mr. Gibson to the attention of both the commissioner of police and the attorney general, a gift received under these circumstances would contravene the Prevention of Bribery Act.

Sections of the act make it an offence for any public servant to show favor (or disfavor) to any person in relation to the affairs or business of a public body, and also allow for the fact that the person accused was in possession of “pecuniary resources or property disproportionate to his known sources of income” to serve as proof that an advantage was “accepted or solicited as an inducement or reward.”

The penalties under the Act range from a $5,000 fine and two years imprisonment to a $10,000 fine and four years in jail, and – at the court’s discretion – being made to pay the value of the advantage to any public body the court directs.

Mr. Hanna has said that people are cooperating with the police as they look into the allegations, but would not say who police talked to or what they said. He reiterated that the police have no timeframe in which to complete the investigation.

“We don’t want to rush the investigation, because as you explore avenues, you find new lines of inquiries and if you’re going to be objective and thorough, you have to allow for time to properly investigate the matter,” he said recently.

“Maybe she’s tired of her license, but she wouldn’t want to go to prison.”

Ahhh, yes, well she probably should have thought about that before she started obtaining and administering that laundry list of drugs!

Good grief...have you seen how many times now they have claimed to have given her ICE baths? geesh...makes me wonder how in the world she got her license in the first place, that’s like Fever 101. And you know...I also read that she is a ‘surgeon’, is that correct, do you know? A very scary thought.

"Both. Evidence and conclusions from the Medical Board would spill over into the other. Maybe she’s tired of her license, but she wouldn’t want to go to prison.

When asked in an interview if she was worried about her license being taken over the "laundry list" she said, "Not really." I thought right then and there that she didn't care about the license. She probably has enough money now and not too worried about it. What money and where it is now or where it is coming from is anyone's guess. That could be debated forever! :)

I’m not sure when her registration is up. I’m betting she simply won’t register...and I think it stops all actions unless she tries to re-register. Remember, as far as we know, she has no other clients anyways...And I hardly think folks are going to be running to her.

Actually, if you go over to ET, there is an article (an exclusive, they say) about “Danielynn Today” that you can click on, with a partial picture of the baby (just her head down to her chest, not a full body picture). The baby is real pretty.

Oh, ok...well if you see a recent one, let us know!! I’ll bet we’ll be surprised how much she’s grown! Of course I’m hoping that Larry will be able to get her out and about in the Bahamas like a normal person after all the hype dies down...we’ll see. Oh and I would think they could test all of her hair length for drugs, HKS can’t hide that....if I’m not mistaken, your hair retains from the root to the end, information about ALL of the drugs in your system, when they were used, and for how long they were used, unless of course, HKS cuts all her hair off (I believe that’s why Brittany Spears shaved her head? but I’m not sure if it works the same for babies, anyone??) And, if LB is determined bio father and given custody, he will be able to get all of her medical records since birth to see if they found anything, I know at one point, he suspected methadone in her system.

You might be interested....I read on a website somewhere, don’t remember where, but it was a site where patients could make complaints about their doctors...KE’s, of course, was full of people attacking her for the whole ANS issue, but I do recall one person/patient stating that KE had ‘abandoned’ her patients because she was spending all of her time in the Bahamas with one patient/ANS. Are you interested enough for me to try and find it again?

Not my interest. Patients and doctors are not contracts. It allows either one to move on.

What I did find out which may be pertinent, is that her registration expires Novemebr 30, 2007.

Any investigation take a long time and my guess would be that she simply won't register again and that ends any Board investigation.

In other words...."not really"...was more like...Hey, the money's in the bank.

Kinda like Bubba losing his Arkansas License for 5 years. Big deal...like he was going to practice.
