Thread Number 3
I haven’t been mean-spirited in replying to you. I have stated my opinion just as you have stated your opinion.
O’Quinn doesn’t have any kids..at least that’s what he said on one of the talking head shows. I was surprised to hear that.
I’m not up on the Marshall case but I thought it was reported that to give Anna that amount of money would have led to the company being dissolved and that’s one of the reason why they were fighting it so. That could just be rumor though. If someone knows please post this info.
OQ doesn’t look all that healthy (to me)... and we all watched him pass out in court.
“”””You seem to be an authority on all matters here.”””
I know - it is a burden to be sure.
This headlines for you from Foxnews.com
‘Goat Man’ Gets the Kid
More than a year after Charles Tombe ‘married’ Rose the goat, his ‘bride’ died, leaving a grieving ‘widower’ to care for his kid
I think he drinks or something. When he’s on some of those shows he just as shaky as Anna was.
“”””sod just slapped my hands for saying I wanted Virgie to push forward “””
No, you didn’t say you wanted .....you said “she needs to”
There is a difference - you have not wanted Virgie to do anything but give up, give in and give apologies for having lived a life of struggle that she managed to handle with guts and grace.
“”””Some people just dont like to lose.”””
Excellent summary.
I imagine Virgie didn’t like losing her daughter and grandson...see what you mean.
Are you talking about the Greta interview? Where did she break the gag order?
I’ve wondered about that and being a diabetic that is a deadly combo for him.
“What Virgie (or anyone) says and what she does can be two very different things. What would you expect her to say on national TV...that she really, really wants some of that money? Of course any sane person wouldn’t say that. Watch what she does. It will tell you more than anything she says.”
You’re right. People here are taking her by her word, yet she’s making life miserable for Larry. It keeps him from devoting his time to Dannielynn and spending his money on Dannielynn. Instead, he’s losing weight, agonizing over lawyers’ bills, spending time with lawyers as long as Virgie keeps this up.....what..3 months now with 2 to go? Larry’s fight and bills should have been over months ago.
“”””you dont want the inquest to move forward...”””
Oh no, I’m sorry if I was misleading - the inquest will go forward - if you haven’t already noticed, Virgie has lost every court hearing, every decision, she could not possibly have any influence on the inquest procedures.
“Thats not true. CPS will try to place minor children in the custody of a family member prior to foster care.”
In my experience, it is true they will consider trying, particularly in long term placements, not necessarily short term ones for evaluations, if there are no objections and if the family is local. I do not think with ANS’s and KE’s objections and allegations of un-disproven abuse etc in VA’s home that a foster home clearance disproving all their allegations could have ever been completed on such an out of state grandparent.
Having said what my experience is, perhaps your experience, where you’ve worked, is different. I’m only speaking from what I’ve known and how I’ve known workers and courts to justify their actions and decisions.
From what I had known, I would not have expected VA to have had any chance of obtaining custody of Daniel unless he said, at age 13 or 14 that he wanted to leave his mother for his grandmother, and if, at that time VA made some pretty strong accusations of unfit parenting vis a vis drug use in his household and Daniel did not object to her accusations. Prior to age 13 or 14, I believe it would have gone as I described earlier.
You are sprouting nonsense. Get a hold of yourself.
The only thing I’ve wanted her to give up is her demands for Dannielynn. I was supportive until we knew for certain Larry was the DNA Daddy... but he filed for that child very soon after she was born... there is no reason anyone should have stood in his way once the paternity was established. I have always been in favor of her fighting for the inquest... I think the inquest is where justice will eventually be done for Daniel.
I am glad to hear that.
By discussing the trial in Bahamas.
That’s a very sad thing to say. What makes you think that Dannielynn wouldn’t want justice for her brother?? Even if she only met him once as a newborn. As an adult, she may feel that she DID have a vested interest in having the person responsible for his death punished. Just because you care about Larry and Dannielynn, as the rest of us do, you have no right to speak for them, and what their ‘interests’ are. Unless I’m mistaken, you are not a family member of Larry’s or Dannielynn’s.
“Virgie protested way to much about not having met Donna Hogan and I didnt find her credible on that point. YMMV.”
I found that strange, too, but some people here thought it was perfectly fine. Virgie has had so many marriages, a child out of wedlock impregnated by her step-brother, etc., that I don’t think anything in her life is “normal” or “average.”
I guess I shouldn’t find it strange that a woman, Donna Hogan, a child of Virgie’s ex-husband, would write a book and know so much about Virgie, Anna and Howard, yet Virgie acted last night like she never even heard of her.
