Hi, everybody.
I stayed home from church today to keep an eye on my husband. His doctor put him on a new medication two weeks ago and I just read the side effects which include dizziness and flu-like symptoms, so it's likely that's why he doesn't feel well and has fuzzy-thinking.
Sometimes I think these medications are worse than the conditions they are supposed to cure.
I hope Mr. P feels better soon.
Thanks, lysie. I'm relieved in a way because I think all his symptoms are from medication, and we can fix that on Monday by talking with his doctor.
Beautiful day here; hope yours is a good one too.
And besides... we all work closely together anyway. It's only right that since I have a house, all of the shiftless, homeless bums come stay with me and scare my cats and dig through my refrigerator at 3am.
It's actually been kinda fun. Sorta like a slumber party, only no-one sleeps.

Preseason b'ball watching.
Dont be in a hurry and buy something that is not what you want.
do NOT limit yourself to what is currently on market. If you see something you like, go to the door, give them your card & tell them if they are even remotely considering selling in near future, give you a call.
Winter is an excellent time to do this.
Offer to buy the home as is/at a discount based on appaisal. You would be surprised the number of people that would like to move, but DONT want to go thru process of "getting it ready to market" , getting rid of their junk, and to fix it up. Buying as is w/discount is good.
The appraiser should be an independent (perhaps thrift industry appraiser) that is NOT their buddy from the country club.
If you don't plan on little kids in your future, dont get roped into neighborhoods that put a premium on great schools & have tons of kids..Pay a lot more for something you don't need/want
When I was "in the business" about half the GOOD property I purchased was NOT on the market. If course you are loooked at suspiciously as you knock at door.. About half the time I had a call within 12 hours for "further chat"
hope he can get all of that straightened out Peach. Nice day here but crisp/cool. low 40s but sunny so good.
Yes? I think the Indians are playing the Yankees...am going to listen to it on my headset..
Yeah... right. Like you can plan for those kinds of things..... :>)

my observation has been that your body is like a pack of dogs (not just yours.. all of ours).
There are the alpha parts & the beta parts. The alpha parts are what takes charge/control
So yes, childbirth is something that can be GENERALLY planned/controlled/avoided depending on WHAT PART OF YOUR BODY is the alpha at any given time.
simple.. but true.
trying to keep this family /nanny friendly..
lol
sounds like your weekend was interesting. NOt sure if I am happy for your or pained for you.. The in control John seems to have deserted the ship. But I can't talk, it seems like forever since I was truly in control here.
I've got good things accomplished. I have more to do. Life is good.

They are going to heaven. They are good people. Caring people.
Poor people.... they ran away. I'm better, but I'm not quite right. Yet.
/johnny
And the poor folks that knocked on the door left some stuff... LOL! I'll bet they didn't expect THAT!
Grumpy, hurting, and having too much fun with life to let it go....
Enjoy your movie. Tell your buddy he has to take me to the show next time.... "WHAT? WHAT DID HE SAY?" "I CAN'T HEAR SHTUFF!!!" "WHAT?"

I agree Peach! I am very sensitive to meds, my husband, a Pharmacist, did not beleive anyone could be as sensitive to meds as I am.
I prefer natural supplements whenever available to meds.
