Mark Steines: You are watching exclusive video of the desperate last attempt to save Anna Nicole’s life, but it may have already been too late. As the frantic paramedics worked wildly trying to get Anna Nicole’s heart pumping again, sources tell ET she was already gone.
Mary Hart: Here’s what we know. There are reports that investigators found illegal drugs and prescription drugs inside Anna Nicole’s hotel room.
Mark Steines: ET has obtained this last known photo of Anna Nicole alive, inside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, where she would die two days later, walking through the lobby, holding Howard’s hand, a giant stone on her wedding ring finger.

Mark Steines: How did you first learn that Anna Nicole had died?
Khristine Eroshevich, MD/PHD, Anna Nicole’s Close Friend: My cell phone went off and it was Howard.
Mark Steines: I flew to Florida with Anna’s close friend and confident, Khristine Eroshevich, last night. Howard had called her immediately after Anna Nicole was rushed to the hospital.
Khristine Eroshevich: He was hysterical, he could barely speak. He sounds tragically and forever wounded. And he goes “Just talk to the fireman” And I said, “ Well what’s going on?” And he said, “We’re giving her CPR” And I’m like “Is she dead?” and than I got back on the phone with Howard, he asked me to come out and to call his parents. And I kept thinking….maybe, maybe she’s not dead. Maybe they’ve saved her.
Mark Steines: What’s happening at that hotel, as we speak?
KE: The CSI unit is in the room, it’s corded off. He can’t go in the room. Nobody can go in the room. He’s there, I think the police are talking to him, and most likely the bodyguard and his wife. I’m afraid he’s alone.

MS: Two Entertainment Tonight producers were the only journalists allowed into Howard K. Stern’s hotel room today, to speak to him, and the security guard who tried to revive Anna Nicole Smith. We can report that Howard is distraught, inconsolable and obviously devastated. He is surrounded by immediate family.
MS: This is Anna Nicole’s bodyguard Moe. He’s a constant presence in Anna’s life, and his wife was at Anna’s side and made the urgent call to 911.

MS: Police investigators took several bags, six bags out of that hotel room. If you had to guess, if you had to speculate what belongings they removed, do you know what it might be?
Ford Shelly: No sir, I do not know.
Mark Steines: Anna’s former friend, Ford Shelly, who was near tears throughout our interview, became close to Anna when she spent most of the summer with him and his family in Myrtle Beach. He flew to Florida as soon as he heard Anna had collapsed.
FS: And my assistant came in and told me to turn the TV on. And the time we thought that she had just collapsed, so we were coming to be with her.

MS: But Anna is gone, just like her son Daniel. But what about her 5 month old daughter?
MS: Dannielynn, where is she now?
Kris Eroshevich: She’s in the Bahamas. MS: With whom and is she well taken care of?
KE: She’s with a caretaker that’s known her since she was 6 weeks old. And she’s very well cared for.

Mark Steines: And Mary, here is another exclusive piece of information. Anna Nicole was planning a secret wedding. Entertainment Tonight was invited to cover the marriage between her and Howard K. Stern, which was supposed to take place February 23rd in the Bahamas. I can tell you I know that it was something that she was very much looking forward to.
Mary Hart: Mark, the entire story is so incredibly tragic, especially after having spent so much time with Anna and Howard and the baby in recent months. We broke the news of her death and we were there for her final moments alive.

MH: Thursday afternoon, approximately 2:00. The valiant effort to save Anna Nicole’s life had begun. She had checked into her 6th floor room, here at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel on Monday evening at 8:00. She had come to South Florida to pick up a new boat. Her friend Khristine said that Anna was in good spirits for the trip but was feeling ill.
KE: We took her in the hotel, and we put her in an ice bath.
MH: By the next morning, Anna had improved.
KE: Tuesday, was good. She never, her fever never went over 100. She was content, she was resting and she was good Wednesday morning. She was up, she wanted to eat, she wanted to take a bath.
MH: Later on Wednesday, Anna fell in the bathroom.
MS: How would you characterized the fall?
KE: Uh, an accident. I think she slipped in the tub. We checked her over, and we didn’t find any bruises. I felt confident to leave, cause I was concerned.
Mary Hart: Anna got some rest in her hotel Wednesday evening. Khristine called the hotel Thursday morning and learned she had an appetite and had eaten an omelet.
KE: Plans were on to get the boat ready to sail.
MH: But then things went horribly wrong. Anna went to take a nap. But in the early afternoon she had failed to awaken, and her private nurse found her unresponsive and 911 was called.
Charlie Tiger: At approximately 1:45 PM today, Seminole police department responded to the Hollywood Hard Rock Hotel.
MH: She was taken to the hospital at approximately 2:00 PM.
Charlie Tiger: At 2:49 this afternoon we were advised by hospital personnel that Anna Nicole Smith had died.
MH: Police tell ET that at some point after Anna had died, Howard K. Stern was allowed to spend some time alone with her body. After landing in Florida, Mark was asked to appear on all 3 morning news shows to talk about ET’s final interview with Anna.
MS: Last time I spoke with her, she still had a lot to live for.
MH: Anna Nicole’s estranged mother Virgie Arthur told ABC’s GMA this morning the warning she last gave her daughter after Daniel died.
Virgie Arthur: I told her then, I said, Vickie be very careful about who you hang with because you might be next, and now she’s next.
MH: And coming up, what Anna had to say about her mother, in our final interview shot just days ago in the Bahamas.
ANS: Son’s birthday, and laid her fat self on my son’s grave. It makes me sick to my stomach.
MH: Anna and her mom, Virgie Arthur have been estranged for more than a decade. When Mark spoke to her in late October, Anna could not contain the anger and contempt she felt for the woman that brought her into this world.
ANS: She’s not my mother, she’s my birth mother.
MH: When Mark returned to the Bahamas last week, we knew that Anna would have very strong feelings about her mother going to visit her grandson’s gravesite. Anna told him a phone call tipped her off, that her mother was in town.
ANS: A reporter called her and paid her to come up here and lay on my son’s grave. What can you tell someone who is so evil and who doesn’t care and doesn’t really care for her own child.
MH: In both a sad and ironic twist, there is speculation that as her nearest blood relative baby Dannielynn could temporarily be placed with Anna’s mom until the legal issues surrounding the infant’s paternity are resolved. Our recent interviews with Anna leave little doubt that she would not be pleased.
ANS: I saw how evil she was, and evil she is. So bring it on, Mom. Mommy dearest. Bring it on.
MH: And coming up, the one battle that truly tore Anna apart in the end. The fight for Dannielynn. What will happen to Anna’s beautiful baby?
ANS: She’s got real long fingers like mine, and she’s real dainty.
MH: New information on the battle over the baby’s paternity. Had Anna lost the will to fight?
KE: She even said to me a couple of days ago, I don’t know if I can do this.
