It looks as though they may be about to tighten up on that.
I went to what was a new HMO for what I thought was corporal tunnel syndrome (wrist). My first and only time visiting this doctor. Did not go into any detail with him about anything other than the pain and discomfort I was experiencing with my wrist. The first thing out of his mouth was recommending Valium for what he obviously diagnosed (depression)just by glancing at me.
He whipped out the Valium pamphlets and requested that I read over them.
I looked at that man like he was crazy and thought to myself that he must think that I was crazy.
I barely take advil. But that was a lesson to me of how easily some doctors get people hooked and dependent on drugs unnecessarily.
Good for you. I still have pain with my knee, but I'm exercising instead of doing drugs...The worst thing you can do for your knee is sit at the computer for hours..:)
Harvey Levin from TMZ on Greta...Talking about unpaid taxes...
too easy and I learned the hard way that just because you have pain or numbness in your hands it may not be carpal tunnel, this after I was sent to a hand specialist, had surgery on both hands and still had problems and was sent to yet another doctor who prescribed an MRI on my neck and it turned out I had (have) two slipped disks in my neck... so the surgery was all for nautght.
