The buzz on Friday streamed onto the World Wide Web quickly that a court in the Bahamas was set to order that Anna Nicole Smith's baby be tested and those results would be used to present DNA evidence to determine if Larry Birkhead, Howard stern or some other person is the father of Anna's baby Dannielynn Hope. It was even being reported that the test has already been given. Not so fast says the newsroom at TMZ.Com.
Anna Nicole Smith's Baby's DNA Not Yet Taken
A report on Monday from the AOL Entertainment website claims that it just isn't so. Be patient though case watchers. Although it hasn't happened yet, that could all change tomorrow. The judge in the Bahamas is inclined to issue a DNA order as early as tomorrow. TMZ says it has learned that at tomorrow's court hearing, DNA experts are scheduled to testify.

The Associated Press is reporting that potential papa Larry Birkhead was upbeat on Friday following the court hearing in the Bahamas over custody of Anna Nicole Smith's baby. The report notes that the hearing was closed, but many have taken his "happy mood" to mean that a test is close.
Anna Nicole Smith's mother, who also wants the baby, said nothing outside the court building on Friday. Virgie Arthur wants to take Dannielynn from Howard K. Stern, Smith's companion, who's had the baby all along. She has said she could provide a more stable home.
Stern was not at Friday's hearing.
