Why don't you simply call poison control. They'll help you out as to what to observe at least. And/or Call into your doggie doctor and leave a message. He's probably on the alert to help folks out during this.
What is unbelievable is that all of these 800 numbers are RECORDINGS! And they don't tell you what to expect or do preemptively.
