I think that the word abusive might mean he told Howard to mind his own business and get out of her life. Everything is a mess and it wasn;t that way before you came around.

Was Anna always waiting for a call for Daniel? Did Howard simply lie to Anna and hangup? Did he go to the detective BECAUSE he couldn't get through to talk to her personally??

I can't tell you how many times my son and I hung up on each other. But we always worked it out.

The way I understand it is that if Howard picked up the phone and if it was Daniel he would either not let her talk to her or if she was on the line with him hang up on him. ANS may have been so drugged up it wouldn't matter to her. This was probably during the time of the Clown video and from that you could see how out of it she was.

With regard to you and your son..that's between the two of you but just imagine if it was his girlfriend or wife that was doing the hanging up and acting as gatekeeper. It's not really the act of hanging up it's the act of someone having control of the other.

Yeah, "abusive" would mean that to a lawyer wouldn't it? I think we can assume that the comments made by Anna about Daniel being abusive were put in her ear by HKS's big ugly lying ugly deceitful ugly mouth.
