The autopsy results and cause of death came very quickly after Daniel's death. Howard convinced Anna that it was HER medicine that killed Daniel and even if it was an accident, the Methadone was illegal and she would go to jail and lose access to her daughter. (Unfit parent).

It's another reason that Anna wouldn't commit suicide. She knows that Howard was a sh**-a** father and REALLY didn't care for this new addition. The will says if Daniel and Anna died, he gets it all. Dannie Lynn REALLY complicated things but there was no talking her into an abortion. (I'll bet he tried). So score one for Anna. LIFE meant a lot to her.

I understood Stern is not a beneficiary in Anna's will. He was to get nothing, except as perhaps a "salary" set and overseen by law as executor.
