Don't know about the customs, but slide #21 of Background Information presentation says:
Flew from Bahamas to Ft. Lauderdale with Howard K. Stern and Dr. Eroshevich (psychiatrist and friend).
Due to pilot's error, plane landed in Miami at 5:30PM.
I doubt anyone checked it out...

My Perper report says that it landed in Miami at 7:30 PM.
Thank you so much for the info! That must be what that reporter was talking about, he was going on about the pilot error?, how its a 20 minute drive, Ft. Lauderdale airport, and such. He thought the whole thing was strange.
(for some reason when I open those files, my comp freezes, not every time, but often) But I have been afraid to read anything from the report.
