To me, it seems that when she was sober she made a fool of him, and when she was on drugs he made a fool of her. A sick relationship to say the least.
Bobby Trendy was like the worst decorator I have ever seen.
Over Charged and did shoddy work.
I saw how bad his work was on the couple of Anna episodes he was on.
And once again Howard saves the day and fires Bobby.
They met up in a public event and I thought Howard was going to physically attack Bobby.
Bobby was really going over the top with his "gay way" and snide remarks and Howard just about lost it.

In the case of Daniel, there were two people present, Howard and Anna.
You can be damn sure that Howard convinced Anna that she was in some way guilty of contributing to Daniel's death and that they might take the baby away from her. She consequently had to protect Howard to protect herself.
Marriage, fatherhood, the "I hate Mom" video AND THE LATE AT NIGHT VIDEO OF ANNA, BABY AND DANIEL (all happy and healthy) were part of the protections she gave him whether she knew it or not. (Do you REALLY think that Anna knew Bahama Law?)
So, Howard wasn't lying about Anna's "WISHES" based on the plan that she DID know....She simply didn't know the REAL plan.

IMO, HKS seemed rather pleased with his performance.
The wild crazyness yes... but Stern & Anna acting sexual towards each other, no. They may have been the only time during the whole series they acted that way towards each other.
Yes it seems that he was really getting turned on and Anna was just laughing it off. (notice his face when she was on top of him on the floor)
